Abstract
Recommendation system is a system that is used to predict an object. The purpose of the recommendation system is to help make it easier for users to choose the product that best suits their tastes, as well as provide superior products based on the ratings of other users. In this study, the application of a recommendation system uses a Collaborative Filtering approach and the Slope One Algorithm to provide product recommendations based on ratings from other users to be used to predict products that may be of interest to a user. Collaborative filtering is the most widely used approach for designing recommendation systems. The Slope One algorithm is a ranking-based collaborative filtering algorithm, but it does not calculate the similarity between items. The advantage of the Slope One algorithm compared to other recommendation algorithms is that the Slope One algorithm is easier to implement, efficient when performing queries, and does not require many requirements because recommendations are based on the rating of each item, and are quite accurate. The product recommendations displayed are the 4 products with the highest scores. Key words: recommendation, slope one, collaborative filtering, product Sistem rekomendasi adalah suatu sistem yang dipergunakan dalam melakukan prediksi terhadap suatu objek. Tujuan dari sistem rekomendasi yaitu untuk membantu memudahkan pengguna dalam memilih produk yang paling cocok dengan selera mereka, serta memberikan produk unggulan berdasar penilaian pengguna lain. Pada penelitian ini penerapan sistem rekomendasi menggunakan pendekatan Collaborative Filtering dan Algoritma Slope One untuk memberi rekomendasi produk yang didasarkan penilaian dari pengguna lain untuk digunakan memprediksi produk yang mungkin diminati oleh seorang pengguna. Collaborative filtering merupakan pendekatan yang paling banyak digunakan untuk merancang sistem rekomendasi. Algoritma Slope One adalah salah satu algoritma collaborative filtering berbasis peringkat, tetapi tidak menghitung kesamaan antar item. Keunggulan algoritma Slope One dibanding algoritma rekomendasi lainnya adalah algoritma Slope One lebih mudah untuk dimplementasikan, efisien saat melakukan query, dan tidak memerlukan banyak requirement dikarenakan rekomendasi berdasarkan rating dari setiap item, serta cukup akurat.
