Abstract

Determining the right level of inventory at this time is important because it is related to and can affect the work of an organization. The computerized inventory management system provides more efficient and stable results compared to the manual system, which often results in human error so that the warehouse becomes less efficient. This study compares the application of the SARIMA and Prophet methods in predicting PT XYZ's inventory for a period of 5 months. It is concluded that SARIMA(0,0,0)x(0,1,1,12) is better than Prophet in forecasting an inventory with RMSE results of 3.61 and 4.02. Key words: Inventory, Prediction, SARIMA, Prophet, RMSE Menentukan tingkat persediaan yang tepat pada saat ini menjadi penting karena berkaitan dan dapat mempengaruhi kinerja suatu organisasi. Sistem manajemen persediaan yang terkomputerisasi memberikan hasil yang lebih efisien dan stabil dibandingkan dengan sistem manual yang sering mengakibatkan human error sehingga pemanfaatan gudang menjadi kurang efisien. Penelitian ini membandingkan penerapan metode SARIMA dan Prophet dalam memprediksi persediaan PT XYZ untuk periode 5 bulan kedepan. Disimpulkan bahwa SARIMA(0,0,0)x(0,1,1,12) lebih baik dari Prophet dalam memprediksi persediaan barang dengan hasil RMSE 3,61 dan 4,02. Kata kunci: Persediaan Barang, Prediksi, SARIMA, Prophet, RMSE
