Abstract
In the fast-growing fashion industry, very few realize that there are still many market segments that require special designs to support their daily activities, one of which is people with disabilities. here the authors focus on women with disabilities with motor nerve paralysis in their legs. What is meant by paralysis is a condition where a person loses the ability to move one or more of the body's muscles temporarily or even permanently. Then created a fashion product in the form of trousers designed to be able to help women with disabilities especially those with motor nerve paralysis in their legs to do activities outside the home. With consideration of the needs and obstacles that have been experienced by persons with disabilities when wearing pants, the design was born which was expected to help women with pants to wear their own pants easily without having to rely on others when doing so because there was no need to bother lifting the body because the design had cut on the buttocks, besides that also pinned the usage system in the form of two snap buttons that are easy to use. Keyword : Pants, Disability, Motor Nerve Paralysis, Women Dalam industri fashion yang berkembang begitu pesat masih sedikit sekali yang menyadari bahwa masih terdapat banyak segmen pasar yang membutuhkan desain khusus untuk menunjang aktifitas mereka sehari-hari, salah satunya yaitu para penyandang disabilitas. disini penulis memfokuskan pada wanita yang mengalami disabilitas dengan kelumpuhan sayaraf motorik pada kakinya. Yang dimaksud kelumpuhan adalah suatu keadaan dimana seseorang kehilangan kemampuan menggerakkan salah satu otot tubuh atau lebih untuk sementara waktu atau bahkan secara permanen. Maka terciptalah sebuah produk fashion berupa celana panjang yang didesain untuk dapat membantu para wanita penyandang disabilitas khususnya yang mengalami kelumpuhan syaraf motorik pada kakinya untuk beraktifitas diluar rumah. Dengan pertimbangan berupa kebutuhan dan hambatan yang selama ini dialami para penyandang disabilitas ketika mengenakan celana maka lahirlah desain yang diharapkan dapat membantu para wanita penyandang untuk mengenakan celana sendiri dengan mudah tanpa harus mengandalkan orang lain ketika melakukannya karena tidak perlu repot lagi mengangkat tubuh karena desain yang memiliki potongan pada bagian bokongnya, selain itu disematkan pula sistem pemakaian berupa dua buah kancing jepret yang mudah digunakan.
