Abstract

The electric power network protection system is a system that functions to secure the electric power system from electrical disturbances or overloads, by separating the parts of the electrical power system that are disturbed, so that the uninterrupted electrical system can continue to work to supply electricity. A good protection system must meet the criteria of being sensitive, selective, safe, and fast in its work. When there is a disturbance in Zone 2 of the Theater Feeder, the protection system at the KJ68 Substation fails to work which causes the Outgoing Protection system of the Theater Feeder at the Substation to work, resulting in widespread blackouts. This makes PLN experience technical, economic losses, as well as the company's good image. In the case of a failure of the KJ68 substation feeder protection system, it is a case of a protection system that does not meet the criteria. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an analysis to determine the causes of work failure, with the hope that a solution can be found from the root of the problem and the same case does not happen again. The research method used is literature study and field study to test the planning / design and accuracy of the equipment. After calculating the short circuit current and testing the equipment, it was concluded that the failure of the protection system was caused by a design error in the selection of CT Proteksi TM. The requirement for protection CT to meet the needs of the relay overcurrent is that Vknee must be greater than the secondary V. For CT protection at the KJ68 substation CBO has a saturation point having a saturation point below the potential short-circuit fault current, where the protection CT cannot meet the needs of the overcurrent relay because the secondary V is greater than Vknee. Keywords : protection system, feeder, CBO, current transformer, saturated Sistem proteksi jaringan tenaga listrik adalah sistem yang berfungsi mengamankan sistem tenaga lsitrik dari gangguan listrik atau beban lebih, dengan cara memisahkan bagian sistem tenaga listrik yang terganggua, sehingga sistem kelistrikan yang tidak terganggu dapat terus bekerja mengalirkan listrik. Sistem proteksi yang baik harus memenuhi kriteria sensitif, selektif, aman, dan cepat dalam kerjanya. Saat terjadi gangguan Zona 2 Penyulang Theater, sistem proteksi pada Gardu KJ68 gagal bekerja yang menyebabkan sistem proteksi outgoing Penyulang Theater pada gardu induk bekerja sehingga mengakibatkan pemadaman meluas. hal tersebut menjadikan PLN mengalami kerugian teknis, ekonomis, serta citra baik perusahaan. Pada kasus kegagalan kerja sistem proteksi penyulang Gardu KJ68, merupakan kasus sistem proteksi yang tidak memenuhi kriteria. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan analisis untuk mengetahui penyebab kegagalan kerja, dengan haraoan dapat dicari solusi dari akar permasalahannya dan kasus yang sama tidak terulang kembali. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan studi lapangan untuk melakukan pengujian perencanaan / desain dan ketepatan peralatan. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan arus hubung singkat dan pengujian peralatan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kegalalan kerja sistem proteksi di akibatkan karena kesalahan desain pemilihan CT Proteksi TM. Syarat CT proteksi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan arus relai lebih adalah Vknee harus lebih besar dari Vsekunder. Untuk CT proteksi pada CBO Gardu KJ68 memiliki titik jenuh memiliki titik jenuh di bawah arus gangguan hubung singkat yang berpotensi terjadi, dimana CT proteksi tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan relai arus lebih karena Vsekunder lebih besar dari Vknee.
