Abstract
PT GMF Aeroasia is a world-class aircraft maintenance company that provides quality Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services with global standards. Based on the data obtained, the Expendable material distribution process often experiences waiting time for material arrival from the central warehouse for more than 300 minutes. To overcome this delay, waste reduction is carried out by mapping the overall condition of the company in Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and mapping in detail with Value Stream Mapping Analysis Tools (VALSAT). In the VSM method, Current Value Stream Mapping is carried out which identifies waste where the correlation score between waste is described in a matrix called the Waste Relationship Matrix followed by the calculation of the Waste Assessment Questionnaire. Then in the VALSAT method, further waste identification is carried out using seven tools. The most influential percentage of waste is waiting, then the root cause is sought using a fishbone diagram and then eliminated and depicted in Future Value Stream Mapping. The most influential waste in the Expendable material distribution process is waiting and after improvement according to the recommendations obtained lead time from 660 minutes for 6 activities to 575 minutes so that the Expendable material distribution process can be completed faster than 7632 minutes to 4840. Keywords: Waste, Value Stream Mapping, and Value Stream Mapping Analysis Tools PT GMF Aeroasia merupakan perusahaan perawatan pesawat terbang kelas dunia yang memberikan pelayanan Maintenance, Repair dan Overhaul (MRO) kualitas dengan standar global. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, proses pendistribusian material Expendable seringkali mengalami waktu menunggu kedatangan material dari gudang sentral selama lebih dari 300 menit. Untuk mengatasi keterlambatan tersebut dilakukan pengurangan waste dengan memetakan kondisi perusahaan secara keseluruhan dalam Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dan pemetaan secara detail dengan Value Stream Mapping Analysis Tools (VALSAT). Pada metode VSM dilakukan Current Value Stream Mapping yang mengidentifikasi pemborosan dimana skor korelasi antar pemborosan digambarkan dalam matriks yang disebut dengan Matriks Hubungan Pemborosan dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan Kuesioner Penilaian Pemborosan. Kemudian pada metode VALSAT dilakukan identifikasi waste lebih lanjut dengan menggunakan tujuh alat. Persentase pemborosan yang paling berpengaruh adalah waiting, kemudian dicari akar permasalahannya menggunakan diagram tulang ikan kemudian dihilangkan dan digambarkan dalam Future Value Stream Mapping. Pemborosan yang paling berpengaruh pada proses pendistribusian material Expendable adalah waiting dan setelah perbaikan sesuai rekomendasi didapatkan lead time dari 660 menit untuk 6 aktivitas menjadi 575 menit sehingga proses pendistribusian material Expendable dapat selesai lebih cepat dari 7632 menit menjadi 4840.
