Abstract

Wanita yang memiliki peran ganda memiliki tuntutan yang tidak mudah untuk diselesaikan. Beberapa peran menuntut kinerja yang sama baiknya, apabila wanita lebih memprioritaskan pekerjaan maka dapat mengorbankan banyak hal untuk keluarganya. Work life balance diperlukan agar seseorang dapat menyeimbangkan antara waktu ditempat kerja dan aktivitas lain diluar kerja termasuk keluarga dan kehidupan pribadinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan regulasi emosi dan subjective happiness dengan work life balance pada mahasiswi yang bekerja dan sudah berkeluarga. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dengan metode korelasional menggunakan instrumen penelitian Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), Skala Subjective Happiness, dan Skala Work Life Balance. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi yang memiliki pekerjaan aktif dan sudah berkeluarga. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan Teknik non probability sampling yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara Regulasi Emosi dengan Work Life Balance, semakin tinggi Regulasi Emosi maka Work Life Balance akan semakin tinggi. Dan hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara Subjective Happiness dengan Work Life Balance, semakin tinggi Subjective Happiness maka Work Life Balance akan semakin tinggi pada mahasiswi yang bekerja dan sudah berkeluarga. Kata Kunci: Regulasi Emosi, Subjective Happiness, Work Life Balance. Women who have multiple roles have demands that are not easy to resolve. Some roles require equally good performance, if women prioritize work, they can sacrifice a lot for their families. Work life balance is needed so that a person can balance between time at work and other activities outside of work, including family and personal life. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional regulation and subjective happiness with work life balance in female students who work and are married. The quantitative method used is the correlation method using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) research instrument, the Subjective Happiness Scale, and the Work Life Balance Scale. The population in this study were female students who had active jobs and were married. The sampling method used nonprobability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling technique. The results show that there is a significant relationship between Emotion Regulation and Work Life Balance, the higher the Emotion Regulation, the higher the Work Life Balance. And the results of this study show that there is a significant relationship between Subjective Happiness and Work Life Balance, the higher the Subjective Happiness, the higher the Work Life Balance for female students who work and are married.
