Abstract
The development of existing technology can affect several aspects of community
needs, one of which is the community's need for information. The community's
need for information is strongly influenced by the information delivery media.
Not only with text and photos, but people are more interested in watching videos
for their information sources. Besides being more interesting, watching videos is
also more understandable with the information conveyed. This application using
HTML5 was developed so that users no longer need to install flash player plugins
in the user's computer to play videos and make it easier for users to play
videos.

Perkembangan teknologi yang ada dapat mempengaruhi beberapa aspek
kebutuhan masyarakat, salah satunya adalah kebutuhan masyarakat akan
informasi. Kebutuhan masyarakat akan informasi sangat dipengaruhi dengan
media penyampaian informasi tersebut. Tidak hanya dengan teks dan foto, tetapi
masyarakat lebih tertarik menonton video untuk sumber informasi mereka. Selain
lebih menarik, menonton video juga lebih dapat dimengerti dengan informasi
yang disampaikan. Aplikasi dengan menggunakan HTML5 ini dikembangkan
agar pengguna tidak perlu meng-install plug-in flash player lagi dikomputer
pengguna untuk memutar video dan memudahkan pengguna dalam memutar
video.
