Abstract

As a company in the textile sector, PT. XYZ always conducts supervision and records of supplies. Currently the inventory system at PT. XYZ is still manual. Reporting from the warehouse to the production is done by copying data from the results of the delivery report and then giving it to the production party. Then for the packing section, the report is still written manually. So that there are often errors in writing reports and the results obtained are not synchronous. From these problems, the authors hope that this research can build an application that can overcome existing problems. So a web-based warehouse inventory system application is needed. To simplify the process of checking stock, duration of reporting, and avoiding reporting errors. In designing this system using a waterfall model that is object-oriented and web-based using PHP as a programming language and Mysql as a database. The system is used to speed up the process of processing stock data by employees and printing reports so that the company can be more efficient and effective. This inventory system is web-based so that it can be used easily, is user friendly and manages stock data that can be done flexibly with various menus available for employees. So as to provide comfort and convenience in the production process. Key words: Inventory, web, PHP, MySQL, manufacture Sebagai perusahaan dalam bidang tekstil PT.XYZ selalu melakukan pengawasan dan pencatatan terhadap barang persedian. Saat ini sistem inventory pada PT.XYZ masih bersifat manual. Pelaporan dari gudang ke pihak produksi dilakukan dengan cara menyalin data dari hasil laporan pengiriman lalu diberikan ke pihak produksi. Lalu untuk bagian packing laporan masih ditulis secara manual. Sehingga sering terjadi kesalahan dalam penulisan laporan dan hasil yang diperoleh tidak sinkron. Dari permasalahan tersebut Maka penulis berharap dengan penelitian ini dapat membangun sebuah aplikasi yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang ada. Maka dibuatlah aplikasi sistem inventory gudang berbasis web. Untuk mempermudah proses pengecekan stok, durasi pembuatan laporan, dan menghindari terjadinya kesalahan laporan. Dalam merancang sistem ini menggunakan model waterfall yang berorientasi objek dan berbasis web yang menggunakan PHP sebagai bahasa pemrograman dan Mysql sebagai database. Sistem digunakan untuk mempercepat proses pengolahan data stok oleh karyawan dan pencetakan laporan sehingga perusahaan dapat lebih efisien dan efektif. Sistem inventory ini berbasis web sehingga dapat digunakan dengan mudah, user friendly dan mengelola data stok yang bisa dilakukan secara fleksibel dengan berbagai menu yang tersedia untuk karyawan. Sehingga memberikan kenyamanan dan kemudahan dalam proses produksi. Kata kunci: Inventory, web, PHP, MySQL, manufaktur
