Abstract
In its development, the internet later became a distributed and worldwide computer network. The internet carries traffic in the form of information sent and received. Quality of Service (QoS) is the ability of a network to provide good service by providing data transfer, bandwidth, jitter and loss by using the Iperf3 opensource application that can monitor data transfer, bandwidth, sent and receive data, buffer size, jitter and loss. The factors of throughput, bandwidth, jitter, packet loss which is one of the network quality factors better known as Quality of Service (QoS) in supporting and providing good data services, speed (delivery / reception) is accurate and loss packet (minimum) does not occur. Data collection and analysis methods are carried out at PT Packet Systems Indonesia for the need to monitor reports of Environment Monitoring Systems (EMS) devices that use basic Simple Network Managemnet Protocol (SNMP) protocol. After the process is carried out UDP size buffer shows an increase in bandwidth and data transfer on average 299%, a significant decrease in jitter by 0.64 ms and an impact of 8%. Key words: QoS, Internet, Parameters, UDP Protoco Pada perkembangannya, internet kemudian menjadi jaringan komputer yang terdistribusi dan mendunia. Internet membawa trafik berupa informasi yang dikirim dan diterima. Quality of Service (QoS) adalah kemampuan suatu jaringan untuk menyediakan layanan yang baik dengan menyediakan transfer data, bandwidth, jitter dan loss dengan menggunakan aplikasi opensource Iperf3 yang dapat monitoring transfer data, bandwidth, sent dan receive data, buffer size, jitter dan loss. Faktor throughput, bandwidth , jitter, packet loss yang merupakan salah satu faktor kualitas jaringan yang lebih dikenal dengan Quality of Service (QoS) dalam mendukung dan pelayanan data yang baik, kecepatan (pengiriman/penerimaan) akurat serta tidak terjadi loss packet (minimum). Metode pengumpulan data dan analisa dilakukan di PT Packet Systems Indonesia untuk kebutuhan pemantauan report perangkat Environment Monitoring Systems (EMS) yang menggunakan basic protokol Simple Network Managemnet Protocol (SNMP). Setelah proses proses yang dilaksanakan buffer size UDP terlihat peningkatan bandwidth dan transfer data secara rerata 299 %, penurunan secara signifikan jitter sebesar 0.64 ms serta berdampak sebesar 8 % Kata kunci: QoS, Internet, Parameter, Protokol UDP
