Abstract

Along with the increasingly urgent need for increasing the efficiency of the delivery process, the company PT. XYZ, which is currently using the delivery milk-run method, milk-run is a delivery process with goods taken from several suppliers sent for production process needs. Current conditions are still not optimal, from the scheduling and monitoring delivery planning process, which results in inhibiting the production process so that production targets are not met. In this study, a system was made that could improve the efficiency of scheduling planning and facilitate delivery monitoring. The application designed is a management planning and monitoring delivery system, web site based and android mobile by applying the Heijunka method on system planning and utilizing the selection sort algorithm on an Android application. The Heijunka method is a concept for scheduling equalization. By doing even distribution, there will be benefits in the scheduling optimization process. Application of an android application as a driver tool to support the needs in the delivery monitoring process. With the management planning and monitoring delivery system, it is expected to be able to optimize the delivery scheduling planning process and be able to improve the delivery monitoring efficiency. Keywords : System, Delivery milk-run, Heijunka, Selection Sort, Scheduling, Mobile Android Seiring dengan makin mendesaknya kebutuhan dalam peningkatan efisiensi proses delivery, pada perusahaan PT. XYZ yang pada saat ini sudah menggunakan metode delivery milk-run, milk-run adalah prosses delivery dengan pengambilan barang dari beberapa supplier dikirim untuk kebutuhan proses produksi. Kondisi saat ini masih belum optimal, dari proses planning penjadwalan dan monitoring delivery, yang mengakibatkan menghambat proses produksi sehingga target produksi tidak terpenuhi. Pada penelitian ini, dibuat sistem yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi planning penjadwalan dan mempermudah monitoring delivery. Aplikasi yang dirancang adalah management planning dan monitoring sistem delivery, berbasis web site dan mobile android dengan menerapkan metode heijunka pada sistem planning dan memanfaatkan algoritma selection sort pada aplikasi android. Metode heijunka adalah konsep untuk melakukan pemerataan penjadwalan. Dengan melakukan pemerataan, maka akan diperoleh keuntungan dalam proses optimalisasi penjadwalan. Penerapan aplikasi android sebagai alat bantu driver untuk menunjang kebutuhan dalam proses monitoring delivery. Dengan adanya management planning dan monitoring sistem delivery diharapkan mampu mengoptimalkan proses planning penjadwalan delivery dan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi monitoring delivery.
