Abstract

Raw material (material) is one component that plays a role in the production system. The percentage of material can reach 45% of the total cost of the project, while the percentage of steel material ranges from 20-25% of the total value of other project materials. In this project there is often a lack of material stock due to inconsistent arrival of steel material by suppliers regarding the amount and time of delivery and the conditions in which the project has 19 school location points. Of these 19 location points, 4 locations are not possible to drop and store steel material stock due to limited land, so that one location is provided as a material storage warehouse centered in Swadaya, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. As an impact of this problem, the costs of procuring iron material and mobilization swelled. The method used to overcome the problem mentioned in the previous paragraph is the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and histogram methods. By knowing the data on material requirements, master schedule, BOQ, actual arrival data, actual data used materials are then processed using the Lot For Lot (LFL) method and Fix Period Requirement (FPR). From the analysis carried out, the Lot For Lot (LFL) technique is the most suitable method applied in planning the procurement of iron material on this project. The technique is able to provide the lowest estimated cost of Rp 18.177.196.800,- with efficiency cost of Rp 1.684.578.000,-. Keywords: Inventory, raw materials, MRP method, LFL, FPR. Bahan baku (material) merupakan salah satu komponen yang berperan dalam sistem produksi. Persentase material bisa mencapai 45% dari nilai total biaya proyek, sedangkan persentase material besi berkisar antara 20-25% dari nilai total material proyek yang lain. Pada proyek ini sering terjadi kekurangan stok material dikarenakan kedatangan material besi oleh supplier tidak konsisten terkait jumlah dan waktu pengiriman serta kondisi dimana proyek ini memiliki 19 titik lokasi sekolah. Dari 19 titik lokasi ini, 4 lokasi tidak dimungkinkan untuk menurunkan dan menyimpan stok material besi dikarenakan lahan yang terbatas, sehingga disediakan satu lokasi sebagai gudang penyimpanan material terpusat di Swadaya, Duren Sawit Jakarta Timur. Sebagai dampak dari masalah tersebut biaya pengadaan material besi dan biaya operasional mobilisasi material besi membengkak. Metode yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah yang telah disebutkan pada paragraph sebelumnya adalah metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) dan histogram. Dengan mengetahui data kebutuhan material, master schedule, BOQ, data kedatangan aktual dan data aktual material yang terpakai kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan teknik Lot For Lot (LFL) dan Fix Period Requirement (FPR). Dari analisa yang dilakukan, teknik Lot For Lot (LFL) merupakan metode yang paling cocok diterapkan pada perencanaan pengadaan material besi pada proyek ini. Teknik Lot For Lot (LFL) mampu mencukupi kebutuhan material besi dan mampu memberikan nilai biaya pengadaan terendah, yaitu sebesar Rp 18.177.196.800,- dengan efisiensi nilai biaya sebesar Rp 1.684.578.000,-.
