Abstract

The role of the aircraft maintenance industry is to provide aircraft maintenance services which are expected to maintain the survival of the aircraft itself, PT. Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) is a company that focuses on servicing aircraft maintenance and repair or maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO). In the work area of workshop 2 PT GMF Aero Asia Tbk there is a tool for testing a component called the Switching Unit. Switching Unit is used in testing all components that require ATE (Automatic Test Equipment). ATE is computer controlled equipment that tests electronic devices for functionality and performance. To obtain an authorized release certificate efficiently and without compromising on quality, it is necessary to switch unit testing with self-test on automatic test equipment in testing the equipment, namely No-Go items and calibration, which means that each aircraft is prohibited from operating if the Test Bench has problems or is in an unfinished condition. get an airworthiness release certificate. In this study, input data from the controller, namely Arduino Nano, which programs the data and will be forwarded to the I/O Expander (MCP 230117). The circuit controller will convert the supply to 5V which is forwarded to memory (AT24CP) and provide a 24V supply to the driver (ULN2803) and relay (HRS2H- S-DC24V). After that, the circuit controller (arduino nano) will give commands to the driver (ULN2803) and forward it to the relay (HRS2H-S-DC24V) via the I/O expander (MCP 230117) according to the required command. And memory (AT24CP) which functions as a counter which will calculate and store how many and how many cycles are used by each relay in each modul by doing a counter on the controller modul. The results of the first test are that all pins on the circuit are connected properly using a digital multimeter. The results of the second test are testing the response time delay on the on and off time the average is 66,47094 ms, so when testing using a switching unit it is expected to wait 66,47094 ms to do each step for good readability. The result of the third test is the current test of the SSM modul on the Switching Unit, the average current per relay is 13,65625 mA, these results are still included in the minimum power consumption on the HRS2H-S-DC24V relay data sheet, which is 15 mA. The results of the fourth test, namely the temperature test on the PCB components, the average temperature is 44 Celsius, it is expected that the switching unit has an exhaust fan with good circulation Keyword: switching unit, self test, arduino nano Peranan industri maintenance pesawat adalah menyediakan jasa perawatan pesawat terbang yang diharapkan dapat merawat kelangsungan umur hidup pesawat terbang itu sendiri, PT. Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) adalah perusahaan yang fokus dalam melayani perawatan dan perbaikan pesawat terbang atau maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO). Pada area kerja workshop 2 PT GMF Aero Asia Tbk terdapat alat untuk pengetesan suatu komponen yang disebut dengan Switching Unit. Switching Unit digunakan dalam pengetesan semua komponen yang membutuhkan ATE ( Automatic Test Equipment ). ATE peralatan yang dikendalikan komputer yang menguji perangkat elektronik untuk fungsionalitas dan kinerja. untuk mendapatkan authorized release certificate dengan efesien dan tanpaharus mengabaikan kualitas, maka dibutuhkan Automatic Switching Unit Testing berbasis Arduino Nano melakukan pengetesan alat yaitu No-Go item dan kalibrasi yang berarti setiap pesawat dilarang beroperasi apabila Test Bench bermasalah atau dalam kondisi belum mendapatkan sertifikat airworthinessrelease certificate. Pada penelitian ini, masukan data dari controller yaitu arduino nano yang memprogram data dan akan diteruskan pada I/O Expander (MCP 230117). Circuit controller akan mengubah supply menjadi 5V yang diteruskan ke memori (AT24CP) serta memberikan supply sebesar 24V ke driver (ULN2803) dan relay(HRS2H-S-DC24V). Setelah itu circuit controller (arduino nano) akan memberi perintah pada driver (ULN2803) dan diteruskan ke relay (HRS2H-S- DC24V) melalui I/O expander (MCP 230117) sesuai perintah yang dibutuhkan. Dan memori (AT24CP) yang berfungsi sebagai counter yang mana akan menghitung sekaligus menyimpan berapa banyak sekaligus menyimpan berapa banyak cycle yang dipakai oleh setiap relay pada setiap modulnya dengan melakukan counter pada controller modul. Hasil pengujian pertama yaitu kontinuitas semua pin pada circuit terhubung dengan baik dengan menggunakan digital multimeter. Hasil pengujian kedua yaitu pengujian respon waktu (delay) pada waktu on dan waktu off rata-rata adalah 66.47094ms, sehingga saat dilakukan pengujian dengan menggunakan Automatic Switching Unit diharapkan menunggu 66.47094 ms untuk melakukan tiap step agar terbaca denganbaik. Hasil pengujian ketiga yaitu pengujian arus modul SSM pada Automatic Switching Unit arus per relay rata-rata adalah 13.65625 mA, hasil tersebut masih masuk dalam minimal konsumsi daya pada data sheet relayHRS2H-S-DC24V yaitu 15 mA. Hasil pengujian keempat yaitu pengujian suhu pada komponen PCB rata-rata suhunya adalah 44 Celcius, maka diharapkan pada switching unit terdapat exhaust fan dengan sirkulasi yang baik.
