Abstract
Modification of the chamshaft shaft holder Suzuki Satria F150 uses a bearing (needle roller bearing) which aims to reduce the value of friction through the pedestal roller that has a lower coefficient of friction so that the assumption will reduce friction in moving the camshaft when rotating. The test was carried out on a four-step motor with 150 cc engine capacity, using the FFT Transform analysis test and then the shaft test was carried out using an electric motor power tool of 3000 Rpm as an auxiliary media in turning the timing chain to vary engine speed at 1500 rpm, 2000 rpm, and 3000 rpm , at the engine speed of the rpm variation it can be stated that the bearing (bearing) is able to sustain rotation rotation at low rpm and high rpm in a certain lifetime. The objective to be achieved in this study is to determine the bearing resistance to the camshaft. After the process of selecting the type of bearing and modeling the camshaft rod needle bearing is applied to the rotating shaft which serves to reduce the direct friction of the camshaft rod against the crank. So as to maintain stability while rotating. Therefore needle bearings were applied to several parts, especially the camshaft rod. Keywords: camshaft, shaft, vibration, rpm variation, bearing life. Modifikasi poros dudukan chamshaft suzuki satria F150 menggunakan bearing (needle roller bearing) yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi nilai gesekan lewat tumpuan roller yang mempunyai nilai koefisien gesek lebih rendah sehingga asumsinya akan mengurangi gesekan dalam menggerakan camshaft saat berputar. Pengujian dilakukan pada motor empat langkah dengan kapasitas mesin 150 cc, dengan menggunakan uji analisis FFT Transform kemudian dilakukan uji poros menggunakan alat bantu motor listrik daya 3000 Rpm sebagai media pembantu dalam memutar timing chain memvariasikan putaran mesin pada 1500 rpm, 2000 rpm, dan 3000 rpm, pada putaran mesin dari variasi rpm tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa bearing (bantalan) mampu menopang rotasi putaran pada rpm rendah maupun rpm tinggi dalam masa pakai tertentu. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketahanan bearing terhadap camshaft, Setelah tahapan proses pemilihan tipe bearing dan modeling batang camshaft diaplikasikan needle bearing terhadap poros putar (rotating shaft) yang berfungsi mengurangi gesekan langsung batang camshaft terhadap crank. Sehingga mampu menjaga kestabilan saat berotasi. Oleh karena itu diaplikasikan needle bearing (bantalan) pada beberapa bagian khususnya batang camshaft.
