Abstract
Work readiness or what refers to employability skills is a transition period from higher education to the world of work. Employability skills can help final year students to shorten the waiting period to get a job, because by having job readiness, any job will be resolved and can be done smoothly and get good results and later help in the career development process. This study aims to determine the employability skills of psychology students at several universities in Jakarta and its surroundings. The research method used is quantitative with a total of 776 respondents and uses convenience sampling. Employability skills were measured by the Skill and Task For Jobs a Secretary Commission On Achieving Necessary Report (SCANS) For America 2000 measurement tool used in Robinson's (2000) study with a total of 24 items. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. From the results of the research conducted, it is stated that the employability skills of psychology students are in the "can" category, which means they are able and have fairly good work readiness. Keywords: Employability, Employability skills Kesiapan kerja atau yang mengacu pada employability skills merupakan masa transisi dari jenjang perguruan tinggi menuju dunia kerja. Employability skills dapat membantu mahasiswa tingkat akhir untuk mempersingkat masa tunggu untuk mendapatkan suatu pekerjaan, karena dengan memiliki kesiapan kerja, pekerjaan apapun akan dapat teratasi dan dapat dikerjakan dengan lancar serta memperoleh hasil yang baik dan kelak membantu dalam proses pengembangan karir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui employability skills mahasiswa psikologi di beberapa Universitas Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan total 776 responden dan menggunakan convenience sampling. Employabillity skills diukur dengan alat ukur Skill and Task For Jobs a Secretary Commission On Achieving Necessary Report (SCANS) For America 2000 yang digunakan pada penelitian Robinson (2000) dengan total 24 item. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menyatakan bahwa employability skills mahasiswa psikologi masuk dalam kategori bisa yang berarti mampu dan memiliki kesiapan kerja yang cukup baik.
