Abstract

Archives are records of activities or sources of information in various forms made by institutions, organizations or individuals in the context of carrying out activities. Implementation of document archiving at PT SOLUSI INTEGRASI UTAMA takes a long time in the process of storing and searching an archive document. Based on these problems, an information system is integrated with a Document Management System. Document Management System is a process or activity that starts from the creation, acceptance, collection, arrangement, control, maintenance, maintenance, and storage can be used as a solution so that the problems that occur can be immediately addressed In this case, an information system design and analysis will be carried out to help PT Solusi Integrasi Utama. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology for the analysis and design phase. With this research, storage and search that used to still use manual systems can be upgraded to a computerized system so that information related to document filing systems can be easily, quickly, and documents are digitally. Key words: File,Document Management System, Analysis and Design. Arsip merupakan rekaman kegiatan atau sumber informasi dengan berbagai macam bentuk yang dibuat oleh lembaga, organisasi ataupun perseorangan dalam rangka pelaksaan kegiataan. Pelaksanaan pengarsipan dokumen di PT SOLUSI INTEGRASI UTAMA membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam proses penyimpanan dan pencarian suatu dokumen arsip. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut mebutuhkan sebuah sistem informasi yang terintegrasikan dengan sebuah Document Management System. Document Management System merupakan suatu proses atau kegiatan yang dimulai dari peciptaan, penerimaan, pengumpulan, pengaturan, pengendalian, pemeliharaan, perawatan, dan penyimpanan bisa dijadikan solusi agar masalah yang terjadi dapat segera diatasi. Dalam hal ini, akan dilakukan analisa dan perancangan sistem informasi untuk membantu PT Solusi Integrasi Utama tersebut. Metodologi Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) untuk tahap analisa dan perancangannya. Dengan adanta penelitian ini, penyimpanan dan pencarian yang tadinya masih menggunakan sistem manual dapat ditingkatkan menjadi sebuah sistem yang terkomputerisasi sehingga informasi yang berkaitannya dengan sistem pengarsipan dokumen dapat dengan mudah, cepat, dan dokumen tersimpat secara digital. Kata kunci: Arsip, Document Management System, Analisa dan Perancangan.
