Abstract
Recently the popularity of smartphones affects the development speed of technology. A relatively large number of people already have smartphone in order to support their daily activities. However, most user use smartphones only to interact with social media and other popular application. Over the times, mobile phone or smartphone has provided Global Positioning System (GPS) integrated on handset. For smartphone users which handset supports GPS, user can know the real time position of the handset and searching for some places with this technology. Learning religion is something that is very important for muslim believer, because it is a necessity as Muslims to improve their religious education. Most people are faineant to learn religion because of several factors, such as not having a teacher to teach them privately. This Research proposed an application which will provide information for those who want to find a muslim religious teacher privately, the system of this application will display all muslim religious experts who is located surrounding the user with a predetermined radius and the implementation of the location based service. Location-Based Service (LBS) utilize GPS technology for its application. LBS not only can know the user position, but also can determine other places position.
