Abstract

Bench Test Drive for testing the Wheel Speed Sensor is a tool to test the performance of the Wheel Speed Sensor aircraft BOEING – 737800NG in accordance with the CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) for Wheel Speed Transducer. The Wheel Speed Sensor is a component of the No-Go item, which means that every aircraft is prohibited from operating if the Wheel Speed Sensor has a problem or is in a condition that has not yet received an airworthiness release certificate. The test drive bench being tested can be declared to have passed the test and can be declared feasible if the results of the test parameters are still within their limits on the CMM. The test method is divided into three stages of the parameters being tested. The parameters observed in this bench test drive include calibration, rotary table performance, and then the motion function (velocity) on the Rotary Table which is installed with the NI ISM-7412E stepper motor. Calibration is done by verifying the output speed of the actuator in terms of accuracy, linearity, and precision using the API and internal encoder as a reference. Performance testing observes the value of temperature performance and current consumption. Testing (velocity) using LABView software and Softmotion Toolkit to drive and monitor motor motion. Based on Bench Testing, the Rotary Table test drive can be controlled using LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench) software and Softmotion Toolkit which functions to control and monitor the motion function of the stepper motor. In the Power Consumption and Temperature Performance Test, the average current usage is 0.770775 A and the temperature reaches 80.013°C which occurs when the test duration is 6 hours 5 minutes 10 seconds. In the Velocity Test Using the Internal Encoder on the NI ISM-7412E stepper motor, the results shown when the setpoint is set to 25 RPM is 25.32 RPM and when the setpoint is set to 1500 RPM is 1512.44 RPM, from the test it is stated that the Rotary Table readings are still within tolerance in CMM Wheel Speed Sensor which is 2%. Keywords: Bench Test Drive, Wheel Speed Sensor, Stepper Motor Bench Test Drive untuk pengujian Wheel Speed Sensor adalah alat untuk menguji performa dari Wheel Speed Sensor pesawat BOEING – 737800NG sesuai dengan CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) for Wheel Speed Transducer. Wheel Speed Sensor merupakan komponen No-Go item, yang berarti setiap pesawat dilarang beroperasi apabila Wheel Speed Sensor bermasalah atau dalam kondisi belum mendapatkan sertifikat airworthiness release certificate. Bench test drive yang diuji dapat dinyatakan lulus pengujian dan dapat dinyatakan layak apabila hasil dari parameter pengujian masih dalam batas limitasinya pada CMM. Metode pengujian dibagi menjadi tiga tahap paramter yang diuji. Parameter yang diamati pada pengujian bench test drive ini meliputi kalibrasi, performa rotary table, kemudian fungsi gerak (velocity) pada Rotary Table yang dipasang motor stepper NI ISM-7412E. Kalibrasi dilakukan dengan memverifikasi keluaran kecepatan aktuator dalam hal akurasi, linieritas, dan presisi menggunakan API dan encoder internal sebagai referensi. Pengujian performa mengamati nilai performa suhu dan konsumsi arus. Pengujian (velocity) menggunakan software LABView dan Softmotion Toolkit untuk menggerakkan dan memonitor gerak motor. Berdasarkan Pengujian Bench test drive Rotary Table dapat dikendalikan dengan menggunakan software LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench) dan Softmotion Toolkit yang berfungsi untuk mengontrol dan memonitor fungsi gerak pada motor stepper. Pada Pengujian Konsumsi Daya dan Performa Suhu didapatkan hasil rata – rata penggunaan arus 0.770775 A dan suhu mencapai 80.013°C yang terjadi pada saat durasi pengetesan 6 jam 5 menit 10 detik. Pada Pengujian Velocity Menggunakan Internal Encoder pada motor stepper NI ISM-7412E, hasil yang ditunjukkan pada saat setpoint diatur ke 25 RPM adalah 25.32 RPM dan pada saat setpoint diatur ke 1500 RPM adalah 1512.44 RPM maka dari pengujian tersebut dinyatakan bahwa pembacaan Rotary Table masih pada toleransi CMM Wheel Speed Sensor yaitu 2%.
