Abstract

The plant detection system that will be developed at this time is based on the type of an object. Data in the form of images can provide some information such as nitrogen requirements and BWD category (Leaf Color Chart). Rice is a group of food crops that are very important and beneficial for the lives of Indonesian people, therefore a system for determining the nitrogen requirement for fertilizer in rice is needed. Because they want to reduce crop failures, because rice is a market need and also a consumer target. If crop failure continues to increase and crop yields decline, it will make rice scarce in Indonesia. So that a system is made that can determine the nitrogen requirement for fertilizer in rice based on the color of the rice leaves, using the concept method of image processing with histogram algorithms and Euclidean distance calculations. The steps taken before determining the nitrogen requirement and the Leaf Color Chart (BWD) category are image processing, grayscale, RGB separator (red, green, blue). The image taken is rice leaves, not rice stalks. The test results of this system can determine nitrogen requirements, Leaf Color Chart (BWD) categories and distance. After testing this system, it was concluded that the proposed method has the ability to determine nitrogen requirements for fertilizer in rice with the grayscaling process with an accuracy of 91.67% and using the RGB process (red, green, blue) with an accuracy of 100%.GUI (Graphical User Interface) on this system has successfully displayed the test results, and the test results displayed by the GUI (Graphical User Interface) have been sent automatically to the user's e-mail. Keywords: Nitrogen requirement, rice, Leaf Color Chart (BWD), histogram algorithm, Euclidean distance, image processing Sistem pendeteksi tumbuhan yang akan dikembangkan saat ini berdasarkan jenis suatu objek. Data yang berupa gambar dapat memberikan beberapa informasi seperti kebutuhan nitrogen dan kategori BWD (Bagan Warna Daun). Padi merupakan kelompok tanaman pangan yang sangat penting dan bermanfaat bagi kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia, oleh karna itu sistem menentukan kebutuhan nitrogen untuk pupuk pada padi sangat dibutuhkan. Karena ingin mengurangi kegagalan hasil panen, karena padi menjadi kebutuhan pasar dan juga sasaran konsumen. Jika kegagalan panen terus meningkat dan hasil panen menurun akan membuat langkanya padi di Indonesia. Sehingga dibuatlah suatu sistem yang dapat menentukan kebutuhan nitrogen untuk pupuk pada padi berdasarkan warna daun padi, dengan menggunakan metode konsep pengolahan citra dengan algoritma histogram dan perhitungan euclidean distance. Tahapan – tahapan yang dilakukan sebelum menentukan kebutuhan nitrogen dan kategori Bagan Warna Daun (BWD) yaitu proses pengolahan citra, grayscale, pemisah RGB (red,green,blue). Citra yang di ambil adalah daun padi bukan batang padi. Hasil uji sistem ini dapat menentukan kebutuhan nitrogen, kategori Bagan Warna Daun (BWD) dan hasil distance. Setelah dilakukan pengujian pada sistem ini, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa metode yang diajukan memiliki kemampuan dalam menentukan kebutuhan nitrogen untuk pupuk pada padi dengan proses grayscaling akurasi sebesar 91,67% dan menggunakan proses RGB (red,green,blue) akurasi sebesar 100%. GUI (Graphical User Interface) pada sistem ini berhasil menampilkan hasil uji, dan hasil uji yang ditampilkan oleh GUI (Graphical User Interface) berhasil terkirim otomatis ke email pengguna.
