Abstract

Smart Plant System is an Internet of Things (IOT) based plant care system design. Smart Plant System technology functions to water plants, measure moisture content and temperature in the soil. Chili plants require special attention to cultivate them until they bear fruit. From that basis, the authors get a concept of Designing a Smart Plant System Using Soil Moisture Sensors that can measure soil moisture and temperature in the soil with IoT-based controls that can be controlled remotely using the telegram application. The design of the Smart Plant System tool uses esp 8266 12E, DHT 11 Sensor and Soil Moisture Sensor. The results of testing the soil moister sensor 5 times with different days. That is by comparing the soil moisture sensor with the soil meter which gets the results of the appropriate humidity value from the range of soil meter values against Soil Moisture. Testing the DHT11 sensor by comparing the results of the sensor and smartphone thermometer and comparing with the soil meter, which gets the experimental results at odds of 1.6 ° C with the smartphone where the DHT 11 sensor results are 29.6 ° C and the results on the smartphone are 28 ° C, and for the results of the comparison of the DHT11 sensor with the Soil Meter get the same results of 31 ° C. DHT11 sensor time testing results in an average DHT11 sensor delay of 3.38 seconds. And testing the delay of the telegram application by calculating the delay time of the "Status" command and the notification "Dry Soil Status, Active automatic watering" then getting the average delay for the "Status" command is 10.60 seconds and for the notification "Dry Soil Status, Active automatic watering" is 7.92. it can be concluded that the notification delay "Dry Soil Status, Active automatic watering" is faster than the "Status" command. Keyword : Smart Garden, Mikrokontroller ESP 8266 12E, Soil Moisture, Sensor DHT11, Delay Sistem Tanaman Cerdas merupakan sebuah rancangan sistem Perawatan tanaman berbasis Internet of Things (IOT). Teknologi Sistem Tanaman Cerdas berfungsi untuk menyiram tanaman, mengukur kelembapan kadar air dan suhu dalam tanah. Tanaman cabai membutuhkan perhatian khusus untuk membudidayakannya sampai berbuah. Dari dasar itulah penulis mendapatkan sebuat konsep Rancang Bangun Sistem Tanaman Cerdas Menggunakan Sensor Soil Moisture yang dapat mengukur kelembapan tanah dan suhu pada tanah Dengan Kontrol Berbasis IoT yang dapat di kontrol jarak jauh menggunakan aplikasi telegram. Perancangan alat Sistem Tanaman Pintar menggunakan esp 8266 12E, Sensor DHT 11 dan Sensor Soil Moisture. Hasil pengujian sensor soil moister sebanyak 5 kali percobaan dengan hari yang berbeda beda. Yaitu dengan cara perbandingan sensor soil moisture dengan soil meter yang mendapatkan hasil nilai kelembapan yang sesuai dari range nilai soil meter terhadap Soil Moisture. Pengujian sensor DHT11 dengan cara membandingkan hasil sensor dan thermometer smartphone serta membandingkan dengan soil meter, yang mendapatkan hasil percobaan berselisih 1.6°C dengan smartphone dimana hasil sensor DHT 11 29.6°C dan hasil pada smatphone 28°C, dan untuk hasil perbandingan sensor DHT11 dengan Soil Meter mendapatkan hasil yang sama yaitu 31°C. Pengujian waktu sensor DHT11 hasil rata rata delay sensor DHT11 sebesar 3.38 detik. Dan Pengujian delay aplikasi telegram dengan cara menghitung waktu delay command “Status” dan notifikasi “Status Soil Kering, penyiraman otomatis Aktif” maka mendapatkan hasil rata rata delay untuk command “Status” yaitu 10.60 detik dan untuk notifikasi “Status Soil Kering, penyiraman otomatis Aktif” yaitu 7.92. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa delay notifikasi “Status Soil Kering, penyiraman otomatis Aktif” lebih cepat dari pada command “Status”.
