Abstract
The development of technology and information in the world has been very fast, especially in retals. Boarding house is a place to live with a number of rooms that are rented and paid for within a certain period of time. Temporary shelter for someone who works as well as students who are continuing their education or work outside the area of the city of origin is very important. If every day commuting from his hometown will take a lot of time and money spent on transportation. In the search for boarding houses it becomes a problem for someone or a student because they have to go around looking for an empty boarding house. Then the application design is done using the Waterfall method. The stages in the waterfall method include communication, planning, modeling, Result of desain application can make it easier for users to find boarding house information and provide information on facilities, conditions and prices for renting a house without having to come directly, further shortening the time for ordering. Keywords: boarding kost, place search, ordering, design, system Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi di dunia sudah sangat pesat, terutama dalam penyewaan. Rumah kos adalah tempat tinggal dengan sejumlah kamar yang disewa dan dibayar dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Tempat tinggal sementara untuk seseorang yang bekerja serta siswa yang melanjutkan pendidikan atau bekerja di luar wilayah kota asal sangat penting. Jika setiap hari pulang-pergi dari kota asalnya akan membutuhkan banyak waktu dan uang yang dihabiskan untuk transportasi. Dalam mencari rumah kos itu menjadi masalah bagi seseorang atau siswa karena harus berkeliling mencari rumah kos kosong. Kemudian perancangan aplikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Waterfall. Tahapan pada metode waterfall antara lain communication, planning, modeling, construction dan deployment. Hasil dari perancangan aplikasi ini dapat mempermudah pengguna untuk menemukan informasi rumah kos dan memberikan informasi mengenai fasilitas, kondisi dan harga untuk menyewa rumah tanpa harus datang langsung, semakin mempersingkat waktu pemesanan.
