Abstract

SJ. Company is a company wifich moved in job ordered the product is a pipe. The quality of product influences the marketing of product, to product the good pipes which fit the standart and consumen ordered, need to upply the quality control in process of production, correthe system and the cost will produce the better goods. This experiment explains that the quality of pipes could have been controlled, this means the broken product is in linutted of UCL and LCL which have been value from its caractheristics, the broken product which is like wrinkie pipes, the pipes is not smooth, ken reject, scratch, and about the diameter of pipe, could be surpassed with use controlled in the part wrich have been fixed. So that the broken product in September and Oktober can be controlled. This means for next periods control chart have been cimitted control. This become the guidance in company, especially in the pipes production. The result of this experiment tell us that the factors which couse falure of product are from the engineering, and the labour. This is becaused the most components of machine have been broken, so that the machines couldn’t produce the best pipes to ovencome the problem need to subtitute with the right spare part. The problem ontion is from the workers are decrease of discipline, accuracy and capability the operator and limitted of knoaledge about the quality product, beacouse of that, it’s important to do some training, to increase discipline and knoaledge of the labotr. Perusahaan SJ adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang Job Order dimaksudkan disini adalah pemesanan barang adapun produk yang dihasilkan adalah produk bangunan yaitu pipa. Produk dapat berhasil menembus pasar sangat dipengaruhi kualitas produk tersebut, untuk dapat menghasilkan suatu produk yang baik dalam arti memenuhi standar dan keinginan konsumen, perlu diterapkannya pengendalian kualitas pada proses produksi, melakukan pembenahan, dan perbaikan, yang nantinya dapat menghasilkan produk yang baik. Dalam penelitian ini dijelaskan bahwa mutu pada produk pipa masih dapat dikendalikan artinya kecacatan pada produk tersebut masih dalam batas kendali UCL dan LCL dilihat dari karakteristik cacatnya seperti cacat pipa mengkerut, permukaan tidak rata, cacat ken, goresan, diameter hal ini masih bisa diatasi dengan menggunakan peta kendali p pada bagian yang sudah direvisi sehingga produk yang cacat pada bulan September dan Oktober terkendali artinya pada periode berikutnya peta kendali p sudah dalam batas terkendali, hal ini yang menjadi acuan di dalam perusahaan terutama pada produksi pipa. Dari hasil penelitian dan pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa faktor dominan yang menyebabkan cacat produk barasal dari faktor mesin dan tenaga kerja, hal ini disebabkan karena komponen-komponen mesin banyak yang sudah aus, sehingga mesin tidak berjalan dengan baik, untuk mengatasi hal tersebut perlu dilakukan penggantian spare part yang benar. Sedangkan faktor tenaga kerja dalam hal ini, dikarenakan kurangnya disiplin, ketelitian dan kecakapan operator dalam menjalankan mesin serta terbatasnya pengetahuan mengenai kualitas, oleh karena itu sangatlah perlu dilakukan pelatihan-pelatihan guna menambah wawasan kerja dan disiplin.
