Abstract
PT Cikarang Listrindo Energy TBK merupakan pembangkit listrik swasta yang mensuplai listrik khusus untuk industri di area Cikarang. Permasalah yang dihadapi adalah jumlah persediaan chemical yaitu HCl dan NaOH mengalami overstock dikarenakan jumlah pemakaian lebih sedikit, sedangkan jumlah pembelian jauh lebih besar. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan pengendalian persediaan chemical dan mendapatkan perbandingan optimum menggunakan kriteria minimum total cost dengan metode yang digunakan adalah Metode Continuos Review System (Q) dan Metode Periodic Review System (P). Dari hasil analisa yang dilakukan didapatkan total biaya persediaan NaOH dengan metode Q sebesar 69,21% dan metode P sebesar 16,11% sedangkan total biaya persediaan HCl dengan metode Q sebesar 72,88% dan metode P sebesar 43,31%. Metode Q merupakan metode yang paling optimum untuk pengendalian persediaan NaOH dan HCL dari hasil perbandingan total biaya persediaan tersebut. The problem faced was the amount of chemical inventory, namely HCl and NaOH which suffered from overstock due to low consumption, while the purchase volume was larger. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to control the chemical inventory and obtain optimal comparisons using the minimum cost criterion using Continuous Review Systems (Q) method and Periodic Review System (P) method. From the analysis, the total inventory cost of NaOH by Q method was 69.21% and P method was 16.11% while HCl inventory value by Q method was 72.88% and P method was 43.31%.
