Abstract

From the existing problems, the researcher made a mobile application in reporting crimes or accidents that occurred in the sea to the Bakamla (Indonesia Maritime Agency). This application uses the Rapid Application Development methodology. RAD is a method of development that is faster and gets results with better quality than the results achieved by the previous cycle. It with and object oriented approach to produce a system so that it can shorten work time and stages such as planning requirements, RAD Design Workshop, Implementation. This mobile application is to educate public for more aware of the threat of crime or accident in the surrounding waters, accommodate the public in submitting reports, make it easier for Bakamla to forward reports to other stakeholders who are close to events for quick responses and increasing data accuracy with verification from field agents. The originality of this application is on its application by Bakamla (Indonesia maritime security agency). This application is purposely design to meet the requirement of Bakamla in order to accommodate its reporting system. Key words: research, guidance, information system, universitas mercu buana Dari masalah yang ada, peneliti membuat aplikasi mobile dalam melaporkan kejahatan atau kecelakaan yang terjadi di laut ke Bakamla (Badan Keamanan Laut). Aplikasi ini menggunakan Rapid Metodologi Pengembangan Aplikasi. RAD adalah metode pengembangan yang lebih cepat dan mendapatkan hasil kualitas yang lebih baik daripada hasil yang dicapai oleh siklus sebelumnya. RAD dengan pendekatan berorientasi objek untuk menghasilkan sebuah sistem sehingga dapat mempersingkat waktu dan tahapan kerja seperti persyaratan perencanaan, RAD design workshop dan pelaksanaan. Aplikasi mobile ini untuk mengedukasi masyarakat agar lebih sadar akan ancaman kejahatan atau Kecelakaan di perairan sekitar, mengakomodasi publik dalam mengirimkan laporan, memudahkan Bakamla untuk meneruskan laporan kepada pemangku kepentingan lain yang dekat dengan kejadian tersebut untuk mendapatkan tanggapan yang cepat dan meningkatkan data akurasi dengan verifikasi dari agen lapangan. Aplikasi ini sengaja dirancang untuk mengakomodasi sistem pelaporannya. Kata kunci: penelitian, panduan, sistem informasi, universitas mercu buana
