Abstract

ABSTRAK Arya Arung Wijaya Universitas Mercubuana Fakultas Teknik – Program Studi Teknik Industri Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari manusia dituntut untuk dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungannya untuk dapat bertahan hidup. Lebih spesifik lagi seorang pekerja harus dapat menyesuaikan berbagai fasilitas yang ada untuk menunjang pekerjaannya. Dengan demikian fasilitas berupa suatu produk yang dirancang pun harus disesuaikan dengan manusia sebagai pemakai. Produk yang dibuat kali ini adalah sebuah standar paddock atau paddock stand. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah bagaimana merancang sebuah paddock stand yang sesuai dengan Kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen, dan paddock stand yang dirancang dapat menciptakan kenyamanan bagi penggunanya. Maka dari itu diperlukan sebuah alternative desain paddock stand dengan penerapan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD), untuk mengetahui dan menterjemahkan keinginan dan kebutuhan konsumen di kalangan usaha bengkel dan perorangan Melalui tahapan dalam proses perancangan dan pengembangan produk, serta hasil kuesioner yang ditabulasikan dalam QFD. QFD yang digunakan hanya sampai matriks pertama (matriks perencanaan atau sering disebut House of Quality.Dari hasil penyusunan HOQ diperoleh tingkat kepentingan untuk masing- masing karakteristik teknis yang telah dibuat, dimana selanjutnya karakteristik- karakteristik teknis dengan nilai kepentingan tinggi dapat dijadikan atribut prioritas dalam melakukan perancangan dan pengembangan pada produk paddock stand. More specifically a worker should be able to adjust the various existing facilities to support its work. With such facilities in the form of a product designed have adapted to a human user. Products made this time is a standard paddock or paddock stand. The problem faced is how to design a paddock stand that fits the needs and desires of consumers, and paddock stand that is designed to create comfort for its users. Therefore needed an alternative design paddock stand with the application of the method of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD), to know and translating consumer needs and requirements among businesses and individuals through the workshop phases in process design and product development, as well as the results of a questionnaire that ditabulasikan in QFD. The QFD is used only until the first matrix (a matrix of planning or often called the House of Quality. The results of the preparation of HOQ acquired importance for each of the technical characteristics of which have been made, where the next characteristic- technical characteristics of high interest to the value of the attribute could be made a priority in doing product design and development on a paddock stand.
