Abstract

ABSTRAK Indonesia adalah Negara kepulauan, hal ini menjadi peluang tepat bagi dunia kepariwisataan yang berdampak positif pada penerbangan. Semakin banyak orang bepergian, semakin banyak rute penerbangan baru yang dapat diakses. Tidak semua lokasi di Indonesia memiliki Bandara dengan penerbangan komersial, ada juga bandara perintis dengan hanya beroperasi beberapa kali dalam seminggu. Bandara perintis diperlukan dalam menjangkau daerah terpencil dan digunakan untuk kepentingan industri. Tidak menutup kemungkinan peluang potensi alam dapat dimaksimalkan, salah satunya pada Bandar udara Mali Alor. Perancangan Bandar udara Mali Alor ini mengusung konsep Neo Vernacular yang ramah lingkungan dan hemat energi yang memperhatikan kondisi tapak dan massa bangunan. Diharapkan dengan adanya kawasan Bandar udara yang berkelanjutan ini dapat meminimalisir dampak pencemaran lingkungan dan mengurangi dampak pemanasan global. Proses perancangan proyek ini diawali dengan melakukan studi literatur untuk mendapatkan pemahaman awal berkaitan dengan perancangan bangunan Bandar udara maupun mengenai tema, observasi lapangan untuk mempelajari kondisi dan potensi tapak beserta lingkungannya, dan studi banding untuk mencari bahan perbandingan baik terhadap proyek maupun tema sejenis. Kemudian data-data tersebut diolah sehingga didapatkan hasil analisis kondisi tapak, studi kebutuhan ruang dan aktivitas yang akan terjadi di dalam maupun luar bangunan. Konsep perancangan dirumuskan berdasarkan tema yang dipilih dan mengacu pada hasil analisis dan studi sebelumnya. Filosofi yang terkandung dari apa yang ada dalam Bandar udara Neo-Vernacular mengingatkan kita akan pentingnya melestarikan kebudayaan Nusantara dan pelestarian lingkungan. Hal ini terkait dengan segala isu yang berkembang di dunia arsitektur mengenai konsep rancangan yang ramah lingkungan (green architecture, sustainable development, dan lain-lain). Kata Kunci : Bandar Udara, Neo Vernakular, Green Arsitektur ABSTRACT Indonesia is an archipelagic country, this is a perfect opportunity for the world of tourism that has a positive impact on aviation. The more people travel, the newer flight routes can be accessed. Not all locations in Indonesia have airports with commercial flights, there are also pioneer airports with only operate several times a week. Pioneer airports are needed to reach remote areas and be used for industrial purposes. There is a possibility of potential natural opportunities can be maximized, one of them at Mali Alor Airport. The design of Mali Alor Airport carries the eco-friendly and energy-saving. Neo Vernacular concept that considers the site conditions and building mass. Hopefully, the existence of a sustainable airport this area can minimize the impact of environmental pollution and reduce the impact of global warming. The project design process begins with a literature study to get an initial understanding related to airport building design as well as on themes, field observations to study the conditions and potential of the site and its environment, and comparative studies to find comparative material for both projects and similar themes. Then the data is processed so that the results of the analysis of site conditions, study of space needs and activities that will occur inside and outside the building are obtained. The design concept is formulated based on the chosen theme and refers to the results of previous analyzes and studies. The philosophy contained from the Neo-Vernacular Airport reminds us of the importance of preserving the culture of the archipelago and the preservation of the environment. This is related to all the issues that develop in the world of architecture on the concept of design that is environmentally friendly (green architecture, sustainable development, etc.).
