Abstract

PT Timas Suplindo is a company that engaged in oil & gas construction. There is one of the units In PT. Timas Suplindo, namely the IT Division, which is responsible for handling services related to requests for use of assets such as computers and printers. The purpose of the research is to analyze the system that is running at PT Timas Suplindo, as well as designing the inventory system of IT assets needed. The used research method is the method of analysis, literature, UML to describe the current system and the design of the prototype to be built. The method of analysis is carried out by conducting a direct observation in the company, documentation by studying the existing documents, research on the problems, and interview with related parties in the company. The method of literature is conducted by looking for the additional information from various books. The author got the results of research that the inventory system of IT assets is beneficial for the company. The benefits are to make the company easier to record the existing IT assets, to know the existence of IT assets, and to assist the company to make a decision about existing IT asset needs. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of IT asset inventory systems in companies, both those that are used and those that are not used to become more structured Keywords: Inventory, IT Asset, IT Asset Management, Asset Data, Web PT. Timas Suplindo merupakan saJah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang konstruksi oil & gas. PT. Timas Suplindo terdapat salah satu unit kerja yaitu divisi IT yang bertugas untuk menangani layanan terkait dengan permintaan penggunaan asset seperti komputer dan printer. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah merancang sistem inventory asset IT yang dibutuhkan berdasarkan hasil analisa sistem yang sedang berjalan di PT Timas Suplindo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis, kepustakaan, UML untuk mendeskripsikan sistem yang sedang berjalan serta rancangan prototipe yang akan dibangun. Metode analisis dilakukan dengan mengadakan observasi langsung di perusahaan, dokumentasi dengan mempelajari dokurnen-dokumen yang ada, riset terhadap masalab, dan wawancara kepada pihak terkait di perusahaan. Metode kepustakaan dilakukan dengan mencari informasiinformasi tambahan dari berbagai buku. Penulis mendapatkan hasil penelitian bahwa sistem inventory asset IT bermanfaat bagi perusahaan. Adapun manfaatnya untuk memudahkan perusahaan dalam mendata asset IT yang ada, mengetahui keberadaan asset IT, dan membantu pengambilan keputusan terhadap kebutuhan asset IT yang ada. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan diterapkannya system inventory asset IT pada perusahaan, baik yang sedang terpakai maupun yang sedang tidak terpakai menjadi lebih terstruktur Kata Kunci: Inventory, Asset IT, Manajemen Asset IT, Data Asset, Web
