Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced technology in the field of computers makes information systems have an important role in all management sectors, including the data processing process. Especially with the development of the internet world that is so fast today that it demands everyone to obtain information quickly, precisely and accurately. As one of the luggage bag manufacturing company, PT. SRG wants to improve performance in producing luggage bags. In carrying out the production of luggage bags the company still uses paper for requesting materials in the manufacture of luggage bags. In increasing production, the company wants to create a web-based production system that can maximize the manufacture of luggage bags. The approach method used in the design of this system is an object-oriented approach method using prototypes as a method of development. The tools used to design the system, namely UML (Unified Modeling Language) activity diagrams, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. Sequential Searching algorithm can be implemented in the production system design. This production system is expected to improve service to consumers. Keywords: UML (unified modeling language), Production System, Sequential Searching, System Application Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin maju dalam bidang komputer menjadikan sistem informasi memiliki peranan penting dalam semua sektor manajemen, termasuk di dalamnya mengenai proses pengolahan data. Apalagi dengan perkembangan dunia internet yang begitu pesat dewasa ini sehingga menuntut setiap orang untuk memperoleh informasi secara cepat, tepat dan akurat. Sebagai salah satu perusahaan jasa pembuatan tas koper , PT. SRG ingin meningkatkan kinerja dalam melakukan produksi tas koper. Dalam melaksanakan produksi tas koper perusahaan masih menggunakan kertas untuk pemintaan bahan-bahan dalam pembuatan tas koper. Dalam meningkatkan produksi, perusahaan ingin menciptakan suatu sistem produksi berbasis web yang dapat memaksimalkan pembuatan tas koper. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam perancangan sistem ini adalah metode pendekatan berorientasi objek dengan menggunakan prototype sebagai metode pengembangannya. Alat yang digunakan untuk merancang sistem , yaitu UML (Unified Modeling Language) activity diagram, use case diagram, sequence diagram, dan class diagram . Algoritma Sequential Searching dapat di implementasikan pada perancangan sistem produksi. Sistem produksi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pelayanan terhadap konsumen.
