Abstract

In this socialization activity to provide insightful information on website design using the Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 application and introduce the usefulness of the tools in the application as well as what supporting applications will be used such as flash player. This application is widely used by web developers because of its attractive features and ease of use, for beginners this application is very suitable because the tools are very easy to use to design the look of a website. The method used in this community service is the direct interface of practice in the school lab using the Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 application to design the look of the website. With this activity, it aims to make all students of Balaraja Mandiri 02 Balaraja know how to design a website's appearance using the Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 application and what devices and supporting applications are used and know the website's parts such as headers, footers, content menus. The final results obtained from community service activities at SMK Mandiri 02 Balaraja produce students who can understand the use of the Macromedia Dreamweaver application to create a website design display. Key words — Outreach, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, Community Service, Website design Dalam kegiatan sosialisasi ini untuk memberikan informasi wawasan terhadap design website menggunakan aplikasi macromedia dreamweaver 8 dan mengenalkan kegunaan dari tools-tools di dalam aplikasi tersebut serta aplikasi pendukung apa saja yang akan digunakan seperti flash player. Aplikasi ini banyak digunakan oleh pengembang web karena fitur-fiturnya yang menarik dan kemudahan penggunaannya, untuk pemula aplikasi ini sangat cocok digunakan Karena untuk tools-tools nya sangat mudah digunakan untuk mendesian tampilan website. Metode yang di gunakan pada pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah interface langsung praktek di lab sekolah menggunakan aplikasi macromedia dreamweaver 8 untuk mendesign tampilan website. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini bertujuan agar seluruh siswa/i smk mandiri 02 balaraja dapat mengetahui bagaimana cara mendesign tampilan website menggunakan aplikasi macromedia dreamweaver 8 dan perangkat dan aplikasi pendukung apa saja yang digunakan dan mengetahui bagian-bagian website seperti header, footer, menu konten. Hasil akhir yang di dapat dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di SMK Mandiri 02 Balaraja menghasilkan siswa/i yang dapat mengerti penggunaan aplikasi macromedia dreamweaver untuk membuat tampilan design website.
