Abstract

Almost all work involves computers, however, understanding of computers in the community is still very minimal. To master computer science, in addition to formal education, it can also be done by taking non-formal education through courses, even self-taught can be self-taught. Some activities that are often carried out in the field of work that use computers include word processing (Office Word, Excel, Power Point), photo or video editing, graphic design (AutoCAD), 2D and 3D images, configuration of computer networks and making good paid websites or free. But before the computer can be used the computer must be assembled first. This process is called the computer assembly process. This process requires special knowledge although in the development of learning media there are many schools that still apply conventional media. PPM are intended to implement and test different computer learning media, namely by using the media application which is Simulation Game PC BUILDING SIMULATOR. This activity was held in SMPN 219 Jakarta, the activity took place by introducing the basic components with games PC SIMULATOR BUILDING which was continued with training and ended with a questioning session. Key words: computer science, computer assembly, PC BUILDING SIMULATOR Hampir semua pekerjaan melibatkan computer, akan tetapi, pemahaman terhadap komputer dimasyarakat masih sangat minim. Untuk menguasai ilmu komputer, selain mengikuti pendidikan formal, juga dapat dilakukan dengan mengikuti pendidikan non formal melalui kursus, bahkan dapat dipelajari sendiri secara otodidak. Beberapa kegiatan yang sering dilakukan dalam bidang pekerjaan yang menggunakan komputer antara lain pengolahan kata (Office Word, Excel, Power Point), Editing foto atau video, Desain grafis (AutoCAD), Gambar 2D dan 3D, konfigurasi jaringan komputer dan membuat situs website baik berbayar maupun gratis. Namun sebelum komputer dapat digunakan komputer harus dirakit terlebih dahulu. Proses ini dinamakan proses perakitan komputer. Proses ini memerlukan pengetahuan khusus walaupun dalam pengembangan media pembelajarannya masih banyak sekolah yang menerapkan media konvensional. Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk melakukan implementasi dan menguji media pembelajaran komputer yang berbeda yaitu dengan menggunakan media aplikasi Permainan Simulasi PC BUILDING SIMULATOR. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 219 Jakarta, Kegiatan berlangsung dengan memperkenalkan komponen dasar dengan permainan PC BUILDING SIMULATOR yang dilanjut kan dengan pelatihan dan di akhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab.
