Abstract
Drink boxes with thermo electric cooling (TEC) are used in this study to determine the cooling temperature that can be achieved for the number of TEC modules with fan operation or without fan operation. The effect of using plastic pellets on cooling temperatures was also observed in this study. In this study used a cooler box with a capacity of 600 ml. The use of 1 TEC module with Fan and plastic frame provides better cooling after being used for 180 minutes, with the beverage box temperature reaching 4.0 oC without cooling load and 4.9 oC with a cooling load of 600 ml of water. Kotak minuman dengan media pendingin termo elektrik (Thermo Electric Cooling/TEC) digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui temperatur pendinginan yang dapat dicapai untuk jumlah modul TEC dengan pengoperasian fan atau tanpa pengoperasian fan. Pengaruh pemakaian tangka plastik terhadap temperatur pendinginan juga diamati dalam penelitian ini. Pada penelitian ini digunakan kotak pendingin berkapasitas 600 ml. Penggunaan 1 modul TEC dengan Fan dan tangka plastik memberikan pendinginan yang lebih baik setelah digunakan selama 180 menit, dengan temperatur kotak minuman mencapai 4.0 oC tanpa beban pendingin dan 4,9 oC dengan beban pendingin 600 ml air.
