Abstract
ABSTRAK Nama : Jusuf Lutro Manullang NIM : 41515210037 Pembimbing TA : Sukma Wardhana, S.Kom, M.Kom Judul : Penerapan Algoritma Knuth Morris Pratt Untuk Website Suku Cadang Motor Bengkel Maranata Pada era informasi ini banyak data yang dihasilkan dan direkam dengan berbagai cara, walaupun begitu teks tetap menjadi bentuk utama dalam bertukar informasi sehingga text atau string processing sangat diperlukan. String matching merupakan proses untuk menemukan satu atau lebih kemunculan string (lebih umum disebut dengan pola) dalam teks, selain itu merupakan subyek yang penting dalam domain text processing yang luas. Dengan banyaknya data yang dihasilkan maka diperlukan adanya sebuah algoritma untuk pencarian pola terhadap teks (string) untuk mempermudah pencarian data string. Beberapa penelitian terkait algoritma KnuthMorris-Pratt telah dilakukan di berbagai bidang diantaranya industri musik dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan algoritma KnuthMorris-Pratt (KMP) yang mempermudah pencarian teks khususnya pada website ecommerce Bengkel Maranata. Metode pencarian pola pada algoritma KnuthMorris-Pratt ini dimulai dari urutan kiri kemudian bergerak ke kanan selain itu untuk pengembangan website e-commerce Bengkel Maranata sendiri menggunakan waterfall. Dalam penelitian ini, algoritma Knuth-Morris-Pratt berhasil diterapkan ke dalam website e-commerce Bengkel Maranata untuk mencari pola dalam teks sehingga mempermudah pencarian data suku cadang motor. String matching is the process of finding one or more occurrences of strings (more commonly referred to as patterns) in the text, besides that it is an important subject in a broad text processing domain. With the amount of data generated it is necessary to have an algorithm for searching patterns for text (strings) to facilitate the search for string data. Several studies related to the Knuth-Morris-Pratt algorithm have been carried out in various fields including the music industry and so on. This study aims to implement the KnuthMorris-Pratt (KMP) algorithm which facilitates text search especially on the Maranata Repair Shop e-commerce website. The method for pattern search in the Knuth-Morris-Pratt algorithm starts from the left sequence and then moves to the right besides that for the development of e-commerce websites The Maranata Repair Shop itself uses a waterfall. In this research, the Knuth-Morris-Pratt algorithm was successfully applied to the e-commerce website of the Maranata Repair Shop to look for patterns in the text and to facilitate data search for motorcycle spare parts.
