Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris pengaruh perputaran piutang dan perputaran persediaan terhadap profitabilitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan industri sektor semen yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia tahun 2010-2017. Teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode sampling jenuh dan diperoleh 4 perusahaan yang disertakan dengan kurun waktu 8 tahun sehingga didapat 32 sampel yang diobservasi. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel dengan menggunakan software Eviews 9.0. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil kombinasi antara variabel independen yaitu perputaran piutang dan perputaran persediaan mampu menjelaskan variasi dari variabel dependen yaitu profitabilitas sebesar 60,57%, dan sisanya 39,43% dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dilibatkan dalam model ini. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukan bahwa variabel perputaran piutang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Sedangkan variabel perputaran persediaan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan. Kata Kunci: Perputaran Piutang, Perputaran Persediaan, Profitabilitas. ABSTRACT This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover on profitability. The population in this study is the cement sector industrial company listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in 2010-2017. The sample selection technique uses a saturated sampling method and obtained 4 companies that were included with a period of 8 years so that 32 samples were observed. The method of data analysis in this study is panel data regression using Eviews 9.0 software. From this study, the combination of independent variables, namely accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover, was able to explain the variation of the dependent variable, namely the profitability of 60.57%, and the remaining 39.43% explained by other factors not included in this model. The results of this study also show that the accounts receivable turnover variable has a positive and significant effect on profitability. While the inventory turnover variable has a negative and insignificant effect. Keywords: Accounts Receivable Turnover, Inventory Turnover, Profitability.
