Abstract
Intention of Yaoi Female Fans Natasya Soraya Kamadita Firman Alamsyah Ario Buntaran, M.A Mercubuana University Abstract This study aims to determine the intentions of the female readers of Yaoi (Fujoshi) and the impact. This research uses qualitative methods with a narrative approach. Data retrieval is done by conducting interviews with the subject. The method used to analyze the data is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The participants in this study amounted one person, namely women who read Yaoi and had read it more than a year. The results of this study is how the intention of Fujoshi in reading Yaoi is to be able to get pleasure, relieve stress, and also so as not to feel lonely. Impacts or changes that arise due to reading yaoi namely addiction, psychosocial, cognitive, and sexual behavior. Keywords: Intention, Fujoshi, Yaoi Intensi Pada Perempuan Penggemar Yaoi Natasya Soraya Kamadita Firman Alamsyah Ario Buntaran, M.A Universitas Mercubuana Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui intensi para perempuan pembaca yaoi (fujoshi) dan juga dampaknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan naratif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara kepada subjek. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah redusksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah satu orang, yakni perempuan pembaca yaoi dan sudah lebih dari setahun membaca yaoi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana intensi fujoshi dalam membaca yaoi adalah untuk bisa memperoleh kesenangan, menghilangkan rasa stress, dan juga agar tidak merasa kesepian. Dampak atau pun perubahan yang muncul karena membaca yaoi yaitu adiksi, psikososial, kognitif, dan prilaku seksual. Kata kunci: Intensi, fujoshi, yaoi
