Abstract
PT. XYZ is a company engaged in automotive manufacturing which produces component parts for four-wheeled vehicles. One of the products is Part Panel Roof. The purpose of this study is to optimize the lead time for the manufacture of Roof Panel Part. This study uses the Value Stream Mapping method and the tool used is the Therblig Map. From the identification results, there are three wastes, namely waste of waiting, waste of inventory, and waste of motion and improvement can optimize 9% of the lead time value. The recommendation for improvement proposals with Value Stream Mapping is to reduce ineffective motion elements for operators at the final work station. Keywords : Value Stream Mapping, Therblig, Waste of Waiting, Waste of Inventory, Waste of Motion. PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur otomotif yang memproduksi komponen part pada kendaraan roda empat. Salah satu produksinya yaitu Part Panel Roof. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan lead time pembuatan Part Panel Roof. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Value Stream Mapping dan alat bantu yang digunakan adalah Peta Therblig. Dari hasil indentifikasi terdapat tiga waste yaitu waste of waiting, waste of inventory, dan waste of motion dan perbaikan dapat mengoptimalkna 9% nilai lead time. Rekomendasi usulan perbaikan dengan Value Stream Mapping yakni mereduksi elemen gerak yang tidak efektif pada operator di stasiun kerja akhir. Kata Kunci : Value Stream Mapping, Therblig, Waste of Waiting, Waste of Inventory, Waste of Motion.
