Abstract
ABSTRAK PT. XYZ merupakan salah satu produsen kluster elektronik otomotif di Indonesia, salah satu jenisnya adalah speedometer. Produksi utamanya adalah speedometer model K59A dengan 2 line, berada di area seluas 144m2 dengan ukuran panjang 12m dan lebar 12 meter. Adanya perubahan produksi yaitu dari model K59A ke K59J, penambahan produk baru (model K0JA), dan kebutuhan produksi model after market menyebabkan pengurangan maupun penambahan atau penggantian salah satu atau beberapa jenis mesin yang telah ada. Karena area yang digunakan sama, maka perlu adanya pembuatan flow process baru dan membutuhkan penataan kembali tata letak (relayout) yang sudah ada. Sehingga dengan area ini dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan analisis Peta Dari-Ke (From-To Chart) yaitu berdasarkan pertimbangan-pertimbangan angka-angka kuantitatif, dan menggunakan analisis Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) sebagai metode untuk menganalisa berdasarkan pertimbangan-pertimbangan yang bersifat kualitatif. Setelah mendapatkan data dan informasi kemudian dilakukan analisis dengan menggunakan software Unequal- Area Facility Layout Problem (UA-FLP). Software UA-FLP akan menghasilkan layout yang berbeda-beda secara terusmenerus. Penulis hanya tinggal menyesuaikan hasil layout dari software dengan kondisi lapangan. Dengan software ini penulis dapat menempatkan fasilitas produksi dengan kebutuhan area 101,9 m2 sehingga dapat menghemat 42,1 m2 . XYZ is one of the electronic manufacturers in Indonesia, one of which is the speedometer. Because of the same area, there is a need for a new stream process and requires the reorganization of existing layouts. With this area can solve the problem. In this study, researchers used the Map Map From-To (From-To Chart) that is based on knowing quantitative figures, and using an Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) analysis as a method for analyzing qualitative differences. After obtaining the data and information then done using unequal software- Facility Layout Problem Area (UA-FLP). The UA-FLP Software will produce different layouts continuously. The author just stayed adjust the layout of the results of the software with field conditions. With this software writer can place production facility with requirement of 101,9m2 , can save 42,1 m 2 .
