Abstract
Pressure drop due to several factors, the flow of fluid flowing in the pipeline increases the friction along the surface of the pipe and compilation passes through pipe connections, valves, elbows, several other components attached to the piping system. Then the analysis using numerical and simulation pipe flow expert will analyze the friction factor, head loss and pressure drop that occurs in the boiler tank piping system towards the treating processing at PT. Taco Anugrah Corporindo. The results of the analysis with numerical obtained value of the friction factor is 0.228. For the analysis obtained by simulation the value of the friction factor is 0.262774. The results of the analysis with numerical obtained value of head losses is 55.03 m. For the analysis obtained by simulation the value of head losses is 63,136 m. The results of the analysis with numerical obtained value of pressure drop is 557669 N/m2. For the analysis obtained by simulation the value of pressure drop is 822090 N/m2. Keywords: Friction factor, head losses, pressure drop, boiler Pressure Drop disebabkan karena berberapa faktor, diantaranya aliran fluida yang mengalir pada perpipaan mengalami gesekan disepanjang permukaan pipa dan ketika melewati sambungan pipa, valve, elbow, beberapa komponen lainnya yang terpasaang pada sistem perpipaan. Maka analisis dengan numeris dan simulasi pipe flow expert ini akan menganalisis friction factor, head losses dan pressure drop yang terjadi pada sistem perpipaan boiler tank menuju proses treating pada PT. Taco Anugrah Corporindo. Hasil analisis numeris didapat nilai friction factor adalah 0,228. Untuk hasil analisis dengan simulasi didapat nilai friction factor adalah 0,262774. Hasil analisis numeris didapat nilai head losses adalah 55,03 m. Untuk hasil analisis dengan simulasi didapat nilai head losses adalah 63,136 m.
