Abstract
The Relationship Between Work-Family Conflict with Marital Satisfaction for Working Mom with Age of Marriage 1-5 years Yuditya Dwi Putri Universitas Mercu Buana Jl. Kranggan No. 6 Jatisampurna [email protected] Abstract Researchers found some phenomena by conducting indirect interviews. Many of the working mothers feel guilty about not being able to do household chores because they are too tired after work, husbands who start complaining because wives are too focused on responsibilities in the office rather than responsibilities at home. So this study uses correlation analysis to find out whether there is a relationship between multiple work-family conflict of a mother who works with marital satisfaction, experienced by couples at the age of 1-5 years of marriage. The sample in this study is all female workers in South Jakarta, amounting to 80 people. This research uses quantitative research method with 2 variables questionnaire consisting of marriage satisfaction and work-family conflict. Techniques of data collection with purposive sampling. The measuring instruments used in the study were ENRICH Marital Satisfaction and Work-Family Conflict. Kranggan No. 6 Jatisampurna [email protected] Abstrak Tren yang berkembang adalah peran wanita yang bergeser dari yang duhulu mengurus suami, anak, rumah tangga dan saat ini memilih bekerja di perusahaan. Dari hasil wawancara, di antaranya banyak karyawati yang merasa terlalu lelah, suami yang mengeluh karena istrinya terlalu fokus dengan tanggung jawab di kantor dibanding dengan keluarganya. Sehingga peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian untuk melihat apakah ada hubungan antara work-family conflict pada ibu yang bekerja dengan kepuasan pernikahan di usia pernikahan 1-5 tahun. Populasi berjumlah 320 orang dan 80 orang sampel. Pendekatan dengan kuantitatif dengan 2 variable yang terdiri dari kepuasan pernikahan dan workfamily conflict. Teknik pengambilan data dengan Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan skala konflik peran ganda yang terdiri dari 18 item dan skala kepuasan pernikahan terdiri dari 15 item. Hasil analisis Korelasi Pearson R= -0,509 (p<0,01), yang artinya jika work-family conflict tinggi maka Kepuasan Pernikahan akan rendah, sedangkan jika work-family conflict rendah maka Kepuasan Pernikahan akan tinggi.
