Abstract

ABSTRAK Persediaan listrik yang terbatas menuntut untuk berhemat dalam penggunaannya. Salah satu hal yang bisa dilakukan untuk menghemat listrik yaitu dengan penggunaan alat elektronik seperlunya saja. Sistem operasi open source pada ponsel smartphone dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membuat sistem pengendali alat elektronik rumah berbasis internet of things dengan menggunakan Arduino UNO dan relay sebagai pengganti saklar. Aplikasi smartphone digunakan sebagai input perintah kepada rangkaian arduino UNO melalui media penghubung modul ESP 8266. Arduino UNO akan merespon input dengan output berupa logika low (0V) dan logika high (5V) melalui pin-pin yang telah ditentukan, pin-pin ini dihubungkan ke Relay modul. Relay modul digunakan sebagai pengganti saklar yang dihubungkan ke alat elektronik rumah. Ketika mendapat input logika low (0V) relay akan aktif dan akan mengalirkan listrik ke alat elektronik sehingga alat eletronik menyala, dan ketika mendapat input logika high (5V) relay akan tidak aktif sehingga aliran listrik ke alat elekronik terputus dan alat elektronik akan mati. Kata kunci: Aplikasi smartphone, Arduino UNO, ESP 8266, Relay, Alat Elekronik. ABSTRACT Limited electricity supply requires saving in its use. One of the things that can be done to save electricity is by using electronic devices as needed. The open source operating system on smartphone phones can be used to create internet of things-based home electronic device control systems using Arduino UNO and relay instead of switches. The smartphone application is used as an input command to the UNO arduino circuit via the ESP 8266 module connecting media. Arduino UNO will respond to input with the output in the form of logic low (0V) and high logic (5V) through the specified pins, these pins are connected to Relay module. Relay module is used as a replacement for a switch connected to a home electronic device. When you get logic input low (0V) the relay will be active and will supply electricity to the electronic device so that the electronic device is on, and when you get high logic input (5V) the relay will be inactive so that the power supply to the electronic device is cut off and the electronic device will turn off.
