Abstract
PT. GMF AeroAsia Tbk. which is engaged in the repair and maintenance of aircraft. In the Engine Maintenance department, which maintains and repairs Aircraft Engines, there are problems during the Material preparation process which resulted in time delays which far from the targeted TAT. In its implementation, there were indications of waste as much as 84 days with a total material preparation time of 100 days. While the maximum TAT in the material preparation process is 46 days. Therefore, as an effort to reduce this waste, a Stock Opname Database was created, and Gate system improvements were made using the PDCA method as troubleshooting. Where to obtain data, the process activity mapping method is used to identify value added activities and non-value added activities to identify Waste with reference to the Engine project throughout 2019 to 2021. With this improvement recommendation, the acceleration in the material preparation process has decreased significantly by 49 days. Where the indication of the total waste time is 17 days with a total material preparation time of 51 days. So the difference in time after repairs with the planned planning time that has been targeted is 6 days from the TAT time to be achieved. Keywords: Waste, PDCA, process activity mapping, value added activity, non value added activity. Perusahaan PT. GMF AeroAsia Tbk. yang bergerak di bidang perbaikan dan perawatan pesawat terbang. Pada departemen Engine Maintenance yang merawat dan memperbaiki Engine Pesawat mengalami permasalahan saat proses preparation Material yang menghasilkan keterlambatan waktu bahkan jauh dari TAT yang telah ditargetkan. Pa d a p e l a k s a n a a n n y a , t e r j a d i i n d i k a s i Wa s t e s e b a n y a k 84 h a r i d e n g a n t o t a l wa k t u preparation material yaitu 100 hari. Sedangkan TAT ma k s imum p a da p r o s e s preparation material adalah 46 hari. Oleh karena itu sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi Waste tersebut, dibuatlah Database Stock Opname, dan perbaikan Gate system dengan menggunakan metode PDCA sebagai troubleshootingnya. Dimana untuk memperoleh data digunakan metode process activity mapping untuk mengidentifikasi value added activity dan non value added activity guna melakukan identifikasi Waste dengan referensi project Engine sepanjang 2019 hingga 2021. Dengan adanya rekomendasi perbaikan ini percepatan dalam proses persiapan material mengalami penurunan waktu yang siknifikan sebesar 49 hari. Dimana i n d i k a s i t o t a l wa k tu Wa s t e s e b a n y a k 17 h a r i d e n g a n t o t a l wa k t u preparation material yaitu 51 hari Sehingga selisih waktu setelah perbaikan dengan waktu perencanaan yang telah di targetkan adalah sebesar 6 hari dari waktu TAT yang ingin dicapai.
