Abstract
ABSTRACT PT. Kino Indonesia Tbk. is one of the recognized consumer goods companies in Indonesia and overseas with a business scope covering body care products, food, beverages and pharmaceuticals In conducting its business mainly in operational budget management, employees must submit an expense proposal to the management of PT Kino Indonesia Tbk for daily operational budget.However, in the process there are still many obstacles in it, namely the old submission process because it is still done manually,Can’t compare prices with various vendors because there is no purchase history with previous vendors, the proposal form submissions like missing and the absence of master goods or services. To overcome these problems required a system change that is from the system of submission of manual expense proposal into the information system of submission of website based expense proposal. System development approach using Waterfall model with use case diagrams, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams as design tools as well as VB .NET and SQL Server as computer coding tools. Thus all the process of submitting an expense proposal becomes faster and easier. And the expected results with the system of submission of this expense proposal is the proposal of each employee to be effective and not time-consuming, and presents transparency in the process of submitting an expense proposal. Keywords: Information System, Proposal, Expense, Waterfall ABSTRAK PT. Kino Indonesia Tbk. merupakan salah satu perusahaan consumer goods yang telah diakui di Indonesia dan juga manca negara dengan lingkup bisnis yang meliputi produk-produk perawatan tubuh, makanan, minuman serta farmasi. Dalam menjalankan bisnisnya terutama dalam manajemen anggaran operasional, karyawan harus mengajukan proposal expense kepada pihak manajement PT Kino Indonesia Tbk untuk anggaran operasional sehari-hari. Akan tetapi dalam prosesnya masih banyak kendala di dalamnya, yaitu proses pengajuan yang lama karena masih dilakukan secara manual, tidak bisa membandingkan harga dengan berbagai vendor karena tidak ada riwayat pembelian dengan vendor sebelumnya, form proposal pengajuannya suka hilang dan tidak adanya master barang atau jasa. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan suatu perubahan sistem yaitu dari sistem pengajuan proposal expense manual menjadi sistem informasi pengajuan proposal expense berbasis website. Pendekatan pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Waterfall dengan use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram, activity diagram sebagai alat perancangan serta VB .NET dan SQL Server sebagai alat pengkodean komputer. Dengan demikian semua proses pengajuan proposal expense menjadi lebih cepat dan mudah. Dan hasil yang diharapkan dengan adanya sistem pengajuan proposal expense ini adalah pengajuan proposal setiap karyawan menjadi efektif dan tidak menyita bayak waktu, serta menyajikan transparansi dalam proses pengajuan proposal expense.
