Abstract
ABSTRACT Information System Submission of Product Promotion Activities is a useful system to help petition product promotion process in PT Garuda Food Putra-Putri Jaya. In this system built with Web-based, using ASP.NET programming language (C #) and Microsoft SQL Server as its Database. In this study the authors use 3 research methods, among others: Observation Methods, Interview Methods, and Methods Library Studies. With case study Submission of Product Promotion at PT. Garuda Food Putra-Putri Jaya and system development method is using waterfall method. Based on the results of research conducted, it can be seen that the submission of product promotion activities has not been done by using a system based. This resulted in the process of submitting product promotion activities are still less than optimal because in the implementation takes a long time and inefficient. In the end it is expected with the creation of information systems for the submission of Web-based product promotion activities that can accelerate the work of Marketing Section in the promotional activities of the product. ABSTRAK Sistem Informasi Pengajuan Kegiatan Promosi Produk merupakan sebuah sistem yang berguna untuk membatu proses pengajuan promosi produk di PT Garuda Food Putra-Putri Jaya. Di sistem ini dibangun dengan berbasis Web, menggunakan bahasa pemograman ASP.NET(C#) dan Microsoft SQL Server sebagai Database nya. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan 3 metode penelitian, antara lain : Metode Observasi, Metode Wawancara, dan Metode Studi Pustaka. Dengan studi kasus Pengajuan Promosi Produk di PT. Garuda Food Putra-Putri jaya dan metode pengembangan sistem ini menggunakan metode waterfall. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat dilihat bahwa pengajuan kegiatan promosi produk belum dilakukan dengan menggunkan sistem berbasis. Hal ini mengakibatkan proses pengajuan kegiatan promosi produk masih kurang optimal karena dalam pelaksanaannya dibutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama dan tidak efisien. Pada akhirnya diharapkan dengan dibuatnya sistem informasi pengajuan kegiatan promosi produk berbasis Web yang dapat mempercepat pekerjaan Bagian Marketing dalam kegiatan pengajuan promosi produk. Kata kunci : Sistem Informasi, ASP.NET(C#), waterfall, Promosi Produk.
