Abstract
ABSTRACT Management of human resources (HR) of a company greatly affect many aspects of determining the success of the work of the company. One of the most important in human resource management (HRM) in an enterprise is the selection of permanent employees periodically so as to boost employee morale and dedication in improving performance. However in fact PT. PGAS Solution still not optimal in execution the selection of permanent employees it is caused by the unavailability of media that can process employee assessment and advise on the selection of permanent employees. Based on the background of the problems that were outlined above, the authors formulate the problem that assess employees by means of manual had some problems slowness in assessing employee that has not been accurate in assessing permanent employees. The formulation of the problem in the thesis is whether the decision support system best appraisal method Technique For Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) can be more accurately to assess permanent employees. Keywords: Decision Support Systems, Selection of Permanent Employees, TOPSIS Method ABSTRAK Pengelolaan sumber daya manusia (SDM) dari suatu perusahaan sangat mempengaruhi banyak aspek penentu keberhasilan kerja dari perusahaan tersebut. Salah satu yang terpenting dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) di suatu perusahaan adalah pemilihan karyawan tetap secara periodik sehingga untuk memacu semangat karyawan dalam meningkatkan dedikasi dan kinerjanya. Namun pada kenyataanya PT. PGAS Solution masih belum optimal dalam pelaksanaan pemilihan karyawan tetap hal ini disebabkan oleh belum tersedianya media yang dapat memproses penilaian karyawan dan memberikan rekomendasi dalam pemilihan karyawan tetap. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah yang sudah dipaparkan diatas maka penulis merumuskan masalah bahwa menilai karyawan dengan cara manual memiliki beberapa permasalahan kelambatan dalam menilai karyawan sehingga belum akurat dalam menilai karyawan tetap. Adapun perumusan masalah dalam penelitian tugas akhir adalah apakah sistem pendukung keputusan penilaian karyawan tetap dengan metode Technique For Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) dapat lebih akurat untuk menilai karyawan tetap.
