Abstract

Kebijakan penjadwalan produksi yang saat ini ada di PT XYZ menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan diantaranya yaitu lead time produksi yang lama untuk setiap produk, inventory stock yang tidak seimbang antar produk, dan ketidaktersediaan barang yang diminta pelanggan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan difokuskan untuk merancang perbaikan penjadwalan produksi di PT XYZ agar dapat mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini. Metode product wheel dipilih menjadi usulan perbaikan penjadwalan produksi di PT. XYZ. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) maka penjadwalan produksi product wheel dibuat menjadi 3 cycle yang mana setiap cyle berjalan 2 hari. Cycle 1 memproduksi Tonsil C 1000 sebanyak 200 ton, Tonsil B 1000 150 ton, Tonsil A 1000 dan Tonsil B Cylo masing-masing sebanyak 50 ton. Cycle 2 memproduksi Tonsil C 1000 sebanyak 200 ton, Tonsil B 1000 150 ton, Tonsil A 1000 100 ton, dan Tonsil B Cylo sebanyak 50 ton. Cycle 3 memproduksi Tonsil C 1000 sebanyak 200 ton, Tonsil B 1000, Tonsil A 1000, Tonsil B Cylo, Tonsil C 25, dan Tonsil B 25 masing-masing sebanyak 50 ton. Dikarenakan Tonsil C 25 dan Tonsil B 25 adalah produk MTO maka tidak harus selalu diproduksi ketika cycle 3 berputar. Dengan melakukan penjadwalan produksi menggunakan product wheel maka didapatkan jadwal produksi yang lebih dinamis dari pada penjadwalan produksi di PT. XYZ sebelumnya karena pada penjadwalan product wheel jumlah quantity yang diproduksi dan urutan produksi dibuat berdasarkan demand customer sehingga diharapkan produksi dapat berjalan secara efektif dan efisien Kata kunci: Perencanaan produksi, penjadwalan, product wheel http://digilib.mercubuana.ac.id iv ABSTRACT The production scheduling policy currently at PT XYZ raises several problems including long lead time production for each product., unbalanced inventory stock, and the unavailability of goods requested by customers. Therefore, this research will be focused on designing improvements to production scheduling at PT XYZ in order to overcome the current problems. The product wheel method was chosen as the proposed improvement in production scheduling at PT. XYZ. Based on the calculation of the Economic Production Quantity (EPQ), the scheduling of product wheel production is made into 3 cycles, where each cyle runs 2 days. Cycle 1 produces 200 tons of C tonsil, 1000 tons of B tonsils, 1000 tons of Tonsil and 50 tons of B Cylo each. Cycle 2 produces 200 tons of C Tonsils, 1000 tons of B tonsils, 100 tons of Tonsils A 1000, and 50 tons of B Cylo Tonsils. Cycle 3 produces 200 tons of C tonsil, B 1000 tonsils, 1000 tons of tonsils, B Cylo Tonsils, C 25 tonsils, and 50 tons of Tonsils each of 50 tons. Because C 25 and Tonsil B 25 tons are MTO products, they do not have to be produced when cycle 3 rotates. By scheduling production using the product wheel, the production schedule is more dynamic than the production scheduling at PT. XYZ was previously due to product wheel scheduling the amount of quantity produced and the order of production made based on the demand customer so that the production can be expected to run effectively and efficiently.
