Abstract
ABSTRACT Implementation of Quality Maintenance For Eliminating Foreign Matter In The Creation Process Condiments Methods Statistical Process Control (SPC) at PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk Quality Maintenance (QM) is a pillar of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) can be implemented in conducting continuously improvement, one of which is to eliminating foreign matter in the finished product at the factory or in the consumer and customer. The purpose of this study is to identify and define the problem., gather information about the current conditions and are looking for the best suggestions for improvement to achieve zero defect foreign matter with assistive device methods Statistical Process Control (SPC). Past data shows the number of defective products that exceed the target set, a metal that has a defect as a foreign matter to be improved in this study. The results showed that the cause of the product defect is influenced by factors machine, man and methods. Proposed improvements can be applied to achieve zero defect foreign matter that is to replace the nut using a lock nut, turning the motor on threaded, cam follower mounting hopper is done by dismantling the first to be more liberal, make additional cover at the bottom of the funnel and chain sprocket areaagitator motors, make mapping bolts potentially fall and input items in the checklist S3 U machine, determine high risk areas, and calculate the number of rings and bolts in a high risk area and include in the checklist machine U. Key Word : Quality Maintenance, SPC, Foreign Matter. ABSTRAK Implementasi Quality Maintenance Untuk Menghilangkan Foreign Matter Pada Proses Pembuatan Bumbu Penyedap Dengan Metode Statistical Process Control (SPC) di PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk Quality Maintenance (QM) merupakan suatu pillar dari Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) yang dapat diimplementasikan dalam melakukan improvement yang berkelanjutan, salah satunya yaitu untuk menghilangkan foreign matter pada finish product di pabrik maupun di konsumen dan costumer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi permasalahan dan mendifinisikan proses, mengumpulkan informasi mengenai kondisi saat ini dan mencari usulan terbaik pada area kritis serta memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk mencapai zero defect foreign matter dengan perangkat bantu metode Statistical Process Control (SPC). Data masa lampau menunjukkan jumlah produk cacat yang melebihi target yang ditetapkan, logam yang memiliki defect sebanyak merupakan foreign matter untuk dilakukan perbaikan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebab produk defect dipengaruhi oleh faktor mesin, manusia dan metode. Usulan perbaikan dapat diterapkan untuk mencapai zero defect foreign matter yaitu mengganti mur menggunakan lock nut, mengubah putaran motor pada drat, pemasangan cam follower dilakukan dengan membongkar hopper terlebih dahulu agar lebih leluasa, membuat cover tambahan pada bagian bawah corong dan area chain sprocket motor agitator, lakukan mapping baut-baut yang berpotensi terjatuh dan masukan item dalam checklist S3 mesin U, menentukan high risk area, dan menghitung jumlah ring dan baut pada high risk area mesin U dan memasukan dalam checklist mesin U. Kata Kunci : Quality Maintenance, SPC, Foreign Matter.
