Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada saat melakukan proses recondition cylinder head technician melakukan beberapa aktivitas fisik seperti berdiri dan membungkuk secara berulang ulang, dimana aktivitas tersebut dapat mengakibatkan cidera otot seperti Muscoloskeletal Disorder (MSDs). Pengamatan dengan metode rapid upper limb assesment (RULA) yang dilakukan pada technician yang bertujuan mengamati aktivitas kerja pada technician apakah memiliki hubungan dengan tinggi meja di cylinder head section. Dan berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dengan metode RULA memiliki nilai 7 dan resiko memiliki skor 3 yang mana diperlukan adanya perbaikan meja kerja karena meja terlalu rendah. Hasil pengamatan tersebut menunjukan bahwa tinggi meja dengan postur kerja memiliki hubungan yang dapat mengakibatkan cidera pada punggung. Salah satu perbaikan yaitu melakukan perbaikan dengan menambahkan ukuran tinggi meja kerja yang sesuai dengan data ukuran tubuh pekerja yang ada di section cylinder head agar technician dapat bekerja lebih baik serta menurunkan tingkat resiko musculoskeletal seperti low back pain. Namum perbaikan ini harus dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dalam proses design meja kerja agar menciptakan alat bantu yang aman dan safety untuk technician. Kata kunci: Sikap Kerja, Technician, Cylinder Head Section, RULA ABSTRACT During the recondition cylinder process, the technician performs several physical activities such as standing and bending over and over again, which can result in muscle injuries such as Muscoloskeletal Disorder (MSDs). Observations using the rapid upper limb assessment (RULA) method carried out on technicians who aim to observe work activities in technicians do have a relationship with the table height in the cylinder head section. And based on the results of observations with the RULA method, it has a value of 7 and the risk has a score of 3 which is needed to improve the work table because the table is too low. The results of these observations show that the height of the table with work posture has a relationship that can cause injury to the back. One improvement is to make improvements by adding the height of the work table according to the body size data of workers in the cylinder head section so that technicians can work better and reduce musculoskeletal risk levels such as low back pain. However, this improvement must be carried out further research in the process of designing a work desk in order to create a safe and safety tool for technicians.
