Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industry resin. Penerapan sistem baru pada PT. XYZ berakibat terjadi beberapa perubahan salah satu nya pada divisi gelcoat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur nilai produktivitas dalam divisi gelcoat serta merancang strategi untuk meningkatkan nilai produktivitas terendahnya. Metode Objective Matrix (OMAX) untuk menentukan nilai produktivitas dalam kriteria efisiensi, efektifitas dan inferensial Metode Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) digunakan untuk menganalisa nilai terendah dalam kriteria. Kemudian merancang strategi untuk meningkatkan nilai produktivitas. Pada nilai produktivitas diperiode awal, bulan Agustus sampai Januari, rata-rata nilai produktivitas sebesar 441,31. Nilai rasio terburuk pada rasio 4 yaitu jumlah hasil produksi terhadap jumlah rencana produksi. Nilai dari masing masing tiap bulan pada pengukuran awal dari Agustus sampai Januari dengan ratarata 2,3 dengan sehingga nilai tersebut dibawah standar OMAX, 3. Dari rekomendasi perbaikan yang diusulkan dan dilakukan proses pengukuran produktivitas setalah dilakukan rekomendasi perbaikan pada bulan Februari dan Maret hasil dari perbaikan pada rasio 4 dengan rata-ratanya menjadi 5,75. Sehingga nilai selisih yang terjadi antara sebelum dan sesudah perbaikkan bernilai 3,417. Dengan demikian kesimpulan dari penelitian ini penyebab terjadinya rendahnya nilai produktivitas pada rasio 4 diantaranya kelelahan, minimnya alat, kurangnya pelatihan, minimnya penggunaan mesin, terjadi adjust pada proses, blending dari stock sebelumnya, penjualan sesuai order sehingga perbaikan yang dilakukan pada rasio 4 dari bernilai buruk menjadi bernilai cukup baik. XYZ resulted in several changes to one of the gelcoat divisions. This study aims to measure the value of productivity in the gelcoat division as well as design strategy to increase the value of its lowest productivity. The value of each month in the initial measurement from August to January with an average of 2.3 with such a value is below the OMAX standard, 3. From the recommended improvement recommendations and productivity measurement process after the recommendation of improvement in February and March results from repairing at a ratio of 4 with an average of 5.75. So the value of the difference between the before and after the fix is worth 3,417. Thus the conclusion of this study causes the low value of productivity in the ratio of 4 fatigue, lack of tools, lack of training, the lack of use of the machine, there is adjustment in the process, blending from previous stocks, sales according to order so that improvements made on the ratio 4 of bad value be pretty good value.
