Abstract
ABSTRACT Kota Wisata is a residential area of real estate with the beauty and comfort of the occupants. In addition there are hundreds of restaurants and cafes scattered in every shophouse. Due to the number of restaurants and cafes making it difficult for residents to know the favorite cafe in the area so it takes an android application that can facilitate and facilitate the citizens in terms of culinary tourism especially for new residents and newcomers to find favorite restaurant and cafe recommendations. Based on the problem then the authors make an application called Kota Wisata Kuliner which was built using java with android studio and google maps API to display the route, using GPS to know the user position and use the waterfall method for design this application. Keywords: Android, Aplikasi, Java, GPS, Waterfall ABSTRAK Perumahan Kota Wisata merupakan kawasan hunian real estate dengan mengedepankan keindahan dan kenyamanan penghuninya. Selain itu terdapat ratusan restoran dan kafe yang bertebaran disetiap ruko yang ada. Dikarenakan banyaknya restoran dan kafe sehingga menyulitkan bagi warga untuk mengetahui kafe favorit yang ada di kawasan tersebut sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah aplikasi android yang dapat memfasilitasi dan memudahkan warga dalam hal wisata kuliner terutama bagi warga baru dan pendatang untuk menemukan rekomendasi restoran dan kafe favorit. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut maka penulis membuat sebuah aplikasi bernama Kota Wisata Kuliner yang dibangun menggunakan java dengan android studio dan google maps API untuk menampilkan rute, menggunakan GPS untuk mengetahui posisi user serta menggunakan metode waterfall dalam perancangannya.
