Abstract

This study aims to examine and determine the effect of firm size, profitability, and liquidity on firm value proxied by Tobin's Q with capital structure as an intervening variable. The population used in this study are companies engaged in hotels, restaurants and tourism that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 period, totaling 44 companies. This study uses purposive sampling method in determining the sample, where there are 20 companies that meet the criteria for selecting the sample. The data in this study were analyzed using several analytical methods, namely multiple linear regression analysis, descriptive statistical tests, Partial Least Square (PLS) tests and mediation tests using the Sobel test. The analysis model in this study uses SEM-PLS software. The results of this study indicate that: (1) firm size has no effect on firm value; (2) profitability has no effect on firm value; (3) liquidity has an effect on firm value; (4) firm size has an effect on capital structure; (5) profitability has no effect on capital structure; (6) liquidity has an effect on capital structure; (7) capital structure has no effect on firm value; (8) capital structure cannot mediate the influence between companies on firm value; (9) capital structure cannot mediate the effect of profitability on firm value; (10) capital structure cannot mediate the effect of liquidity on firm value. Keywords: Firm Size, Profitability, Liquidity, Capital Structure and Firm Value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan mengetahui pengaruh antara Ukuran Perusahaan, Profitabilitas, dan Likuiditas Terhadap Nilai perusahaan yang diproksikan dengan Tobin’s Q dengan struktur modal sebagai variabel intervening. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang hotel, restoran dan pariwisata yang telah terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018-2020 yang berjumlah 44 perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dalam menentukan sampel, dimana terdapat 20 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria pemilihan sampel. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisa menggunakan beberapa teknik metode analisis yakni uji analisis regresi linear berganda, uji statistik deskriptif, uji Partial Least Square (PLS) dan uji mediasi menggunakan uji sobel. Model analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan software SEM-PLS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan; (2) profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan; (3) likuiditas berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan; (4) ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal; (5) profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal; (6) likuiditas berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal; (7) struktur modal tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan; (8) struktur modal tidak dapat memperantai pengaruh antara perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan; (9) struktur modal tidak dapat memperantai pengaruh antara profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan; (10) struktur modal tidak dapat memperantai pengaruh antara likuiditas terhadap nilai perusahaan.
