Abstract

ABSTRACT In these several years, many business appears based on the owner’s skill. They create an opportunity from their skills to become profit. For example, they who run business from their own produce have a big opportunity to get business profit, because they have skills which mostly people don’t have and gain an advantage from it. But in other side, there’s still problem that could become an obstacle to their business, which in marketing product and their own capabilities to the customers. From these problems, the writers have an initiative to develop a webbased information system to resolve the problems. Methods of data collection by the literature study and questionnaire. The methodology of information system development will be Prototype method. In consistency of this information system, hopefully people who have cooking skills could sell their products to their customers easily, resulting increased sale. Keywords : Information system, Cooking skills, bussiness, website, prototype ABSTRAK Beberapa tahun belakangan ini muncul usaha-usaha baru yang didasarkan atas keahlian yang dimiliki oleh pelaku usaha. Mereka menjadikan keahlian yang dimilikinya menjadi sebuah peluang usaha untuk menghasilkan keuntungan. Salah satu bentuknya yaitu mereka yang menjalakan bisnis makanan dari hasil produksi sendiri. Mereka yang menjalankan usaha tersebut memiliki peluang yang besar untuk dapat meraup keuntungan, dikarenakan mereka memiliki keahlian yang tidak semua orang miliki. Namun disisi lain terdapat permasalahan yang menjadi kendala bagi mereka yang akan menjalankan usaha tersebut, yaitu dalam memasarkan produk dan keahlian yang dimilikinya kepada para calon pembeli. Dari masalahmasalah yang ada tersebut, penulis berinisiatif untuk mengembangkan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terjadi pada proses pemasaaran dan transaki. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara study pustaka dan kuisioner. Metode pengembangan sistem informasi tersebut akan menggunakan metode Prototype. Dengan tersedianya sistem informasi tersebut, diharapkan orang yang memiliki keahlian memasak dapat dengan mudah memasarkan dan menjual produk-produk buatannya kepada konsumen secara meluas. Juga dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan jumlah penjualan. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, keahlian membuat makanan, usaha, website, prototype
