Abstract

Design of Minimalist Living Room Chairs Study Programs Product Design Paculty of Design and Creative Art Mercu Buana University, 2017 By: Prima Ratu ABSTRACT Currently, some big cities are built a lot of apartments or houses of minimalist models, not only in big cities today are also already built a lot of minimalist cluster in the village. With built apartments and clusters automatically also a lot of furniture needed to complete the contents of the dwelling. However, existing furniture, especially in the type of studio or rooms with limited area has some deficiencies, especially in terms of large dimensions, and only has a single function. Among the many apartment furniture and other existing dwellings are selected some of which have the highest priority level, ie dining tables and chairs, work tables and chairs, as well as guest tables and chairs. Multifunctional furniture design can reduce the amount of use of furniture so that saves space, but does not reduce its function. To produce a good product in product design, it takes a series of activities in the form of planning and product development, starting from the idea extracting stage, analysis followed by development stage, design concept, system and detail, production process, product evaluation or testing, ending with distribution stage. Keywords : furniture, multifunction, living room chair PERANCANGAN KURSI RUANG TAMU MINIMALIS Pertanggung jawaban tertulis Program Studi Desain Produk Fakultas Desain dan Seni Kreatif Universitas Mercu Buana, 2017 Oleh : Prima Ratu ABSTRAK Saat ini beberapa kota-kota besar banyak sekali dibangun apartemen atau rumah-rumah model minimalis, tidak hanya di kota-kota besar zaman sekarang juga sudah banyak dibangun cluster bergaya minimalis di dalam perkampungan. Dengan banyakanya dibangun apartemen dan clustersecara otomatis banyak juga furnitur yang diperlukan untuk melengkapi isi hunian. Namun furnitur existing khususnya pada tipe studio atau ruangan-ruangan dengan luas terbatas memiliki beberapa kekurangan, terutama dalam hal dimensi yang besar, dan hanya memiliki fungsi tunggal. Diantara sekian banyaknya furnitur apartemen dan hunian lain yang ada dipilih beberapa yang memilki tingkat prioritas tertinggi, yaitu meja dan kursi makan, meja dan kursi kerja, serta meja dan kursi tamu. Desain furnitur yang multifungsi dapat mengurangi jumlah penggunaan furnitur sehingga menghemat space, namun tidak mengurangi fungsinya. Untuk menghasilkan produk yang baik dalam perancangan produk, dibutuhkan serangkaian kegiatan berupa perencanaan maupun pengembangan produk, mulai dari tahap penggalian ide, analisis dilanjutkan dengan tahap pengembangan, konsep perancangan, sistem dan detil, proses produksi, evaluasi atau pengujian produk, berakhir dengan tahap pendistribusian.
